On Sunday, October 19
th, we had Camilla's baby dedication at our church First Baptist Church of Montgomery. This is a ceremony where we, as parents, dedicate our children back to the Lord and the church family also pledges to help us to raise godly children. It is a sweet ceremony. Camilla wore a dress that Little Mama, my grandmother who passed away last November, made for me when I was a baby! She also wore her
monogrammed panties from Nana and baby ID
bracelet that is engraved with her name that her Aunt Brenda gave her. After the service, we had lunch at our home. We had several family and friends attend including my parents, Marty's parents, my sister Kelly and her husband and my best friends Cameron and Caroline. It was truly a special day!!!

A pewter comb and brush set from Cameron and Caroline engraved with a "V"

A cake knife set from Nana and Papa (my parents). It is engraved with "Camilla Avery Vice" and "We love you Nana and Papa" in the corner. This is for her to use on all of her birthday cakes and then on her wedding cake one day...how special!!! We used it on the cheesecake at lunch!

A New
Testament Bible holder and diamond cross necklace from Aunt Kelly and Jonathan.

A Carter's outfit from Mimi and
Pop (Marty's parents)

Camilla had a long and exhausting day and fell asleep playing that evening!
