We spent this past weekend in Tuscaloosa and had a great time. Marty has joined the Red Elephant Club (a club for Bama Fans) and they get to do some special things throughout the year. One of the benefits is Family Fun Day at Bryant Denny Stadium. On Saturday, we took Camilla to the stadium for the first time! Marty's parents came with us and we got to eat lunch on the sidelines and play on the field. We were also able to tour the locker room and press box. It was really neat to get a behind the scenes look at Alabama Football. Here are some pictures from our day.

Can you believe it...Camilla is 9 months old!!! The weeks and months are flying by and our little girl is growing right before our eyes. This past Friday, she had her 9 month checkup and she is right on track. She weighs 20 lbs. 12oz. (90th percentile) and is 28 3/4 inches long (75th percentile). She is saying dada to just about everything including Marty. She loves to point her finger at what she wants and jabber on about who knows what. We are actually trying to start teaching her some basic sign language so she can communicate things like eat, more, drink and thank you. She seems to get frustrated when we don't understand what she is trying to tell us so maybe this will help. She is, of course, walking along everything and with her toys but is still not letting go. She still only has the two bottom teeth and is unfortunately starting to BITE! She is very daring and gets in to all types of things she shouldn't. At the moment, we are having trouble with her climbing on the bottom part of the coffee table to get through to the other side. We tell her no and she just smiles and keeps doing it. The pediatrician suggested 1 min. timeouts so we are trying that and we seem to be making some progress. She is otherwise a very happy, playful, loving little girl. We are enjoying every second. She is such a blessing!

We have had a busy weekend...but lots of fun! On Saturday, we had an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny and all the cousins. Later that night, Camilla dyed eggs with her Aunt Kelly. Sunday started off with some goodies from the Easter Bunny and then we headed off to church. The 8:30 am service was so busy we had to sit in the Foyer and watch the service on TV!! For Easter lunch, my parents and sister and brother-in-law came over to our house. We also had a little "egg hunt" for Camilla...if you can call it that. We basically just put some eggs out in the grass and let her play with them. She had a great time. Here's a video of her "hunting eggs."

Marty and I are so proud of Camilla. She is just shy of 9 months and is already learning to walk with her walker. She has not gotten the steering down yet but she is really starting to gain confidence in herself. She has been pulling up and walking along the furniture for a while now but just starting walking with her walker this last week!!! Enjoy the video.....
