The Suite Life

On Saturday night, Camilla spent the night with her Nana and Papa while Marty and I headed to Atlanta to watch the Braves. We were invited to watch the game from a suite. It was so nice out on Saturday night. They had hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, wings, cookies and more! We had a great time and the Braves WON!

Let's Cook!

On Thursday, Camilla's new Little Tikes Cook n' Clean kitchen arrived from http://www.babyage.com/. She loves the Dora kitchen at her Nana and Papa's house, so I decided she needed a kitchen at home to play with to keep her occupied. It wasn't supposed to arrive until Friday but got here a day early - right when she went down for her nap. Perfect timing! I was able to get it put together before she woke up! It is a really neat kitchen. It says 40 phrases and can even recognize the foods that you put on the stove. It also comes with a washer and dryer that are attached to the kitchen. This is perfect for Camilla because she loves helping with the laundry and carrying around clothes! Here are some pictures of her when she first saw her kitchen.....

Little Monkeys

Today, Camilla (13 months) and I, Caron and Alli (22 months), and Allison, Ellen (2 years) and Callie (9 months) all went to the Montgomery Zoo. The girls had a great time seeing all the animals. It was a warm day but we were finished by lunch. Here are some of the pictures of the girls at the zoo!

Ellen is such a sweet big sister!

What a great day!

Pedicure Anyone???

Here are some pictures of Camilla's first "pedicure" (if you can even call it that.) I have been wanting to paint her toes for some time now. The only time she is still is when she is taking a bottle so I painted them really quick while Nana was feeding her on Thursday. I think they look cute!

Take me out to the ball game....

On Saturday, Camilla made her first trip to the ballpark - the Birmingham Barons. Marty wanted to get Ryne Sandberg's autograph so we stopped there on our way home from Tuscaloosa. It was hot and humid but Camilla enjoyed herself.

We Bought a NEW HOUSE....

for Camilla! Well I don't guess you would call it new, but it is new to her. On Saturday morning, Camilla and I went to a yard sale in Town Lake my mom told be about the night before. I really never find anything but since we were up I decided to check it out. When I got there, they had a disassembled Little Tikes playhouse leaning up against a tree. It looked pretty rough. Another lady was there "shopping" and she was going on about what a great deal the $20 playhouse was and that I should buy it. I walked back to the car empty handed and loaded up Camilla and her stroller. I sat in the car in thought, "I could clean it up with some bleach and I bet Camilla would really love it." So I pulled up in the driveway and talked with the lady who was selling it. She said that her grand kids loved it but are too big for it now. I asked her if she would take $15 for it and she said yes. It was too big to fit in my car so I sent Marty back to get it in his truck.

During Camilla's nap yesterday, I washed and scrubbed it down with bleach. Now is looks almost new. When Camilla woke up we had it put together and on the back porch drying. She loved it and was so excited! Now she wants to constantly be outside.
