On Sunday afternoon we had our church Family Fest. It was great. They had several activities that Camilla could participate in including a bouncy house, pony rides and carnival games! We had a great time with all our friends!

Bama Homecoming

We had a great day on Saturday at the University of Alabama. We took Camilla on campus to see the Homecoming Parade. She loved it. It was a little chilly but she did not seem to mind. We also walked around to see all the "pop art" displays that were done by the sorority houses. The theme was "Return to Glory."

Camilla stayed with her Mimi and Poppy while Marty and I went to the game. It was so cold but we had a good time!

Ready for the parade to start!!!

So excited!!!

Fun at the Alabama National Fair

"People come from miles around. From the farms and from the towns. Where excitement can be found at the Alabama National Fair!" (This is the radio jingle for the fair that has been playing non-stop for the past 2 weeks.) Well, we found the excitement! We went to the fair with our friends the McCarthys, Bledsoes, Barnetts, and Prices. We had a great time seeing the sea lions perform, visiting the petting zoo and all the farm animals. We did check out the circus but it was not to impressive so we left early! It did rain for about an hour while we were their but we used that time to spend some quality time with the farm animals in the barn! Ellen, Alli, Rissie and Camilla had a great time together!

Camilla loves balloons!

She loves animals!

Camilla and Marty had a bag of carrots to feed the animals.

I could not believe Marty let this camel lick his face...Camilla was in shock too!

Camilla thought the camel was funny but did NOT want it lick her on the face!
