Ginger's Baby Shower

Holly & Ginger
(Can you believe Ginger is 8 months pregnant?!)

my beautiful mom, Karen
(I'm not really taller than her, but I love my sandals with 3 inch heels.)

This is the first, all female event Grace has gone to willingly.

All the drinking glasses had pacifiers tied to them and all the girls loved them...Grace fell asleep on the way home with her binky in her mouth.

My sister-in-law Jenn is going to give Martha Stewart a run for her money. Jenn hosted Ginger's baby shower and everything was amazing. She barbecued shrimp and chicken kabobs, had all kinds of bread for us to eat and for dessert we had a fruit trifle. All the drinking glasses had pacifiers tied to them and that was the favorite for all the younger girls. All the salad "bowls" were monogrammed with a letter "E" since Ginger is naming her baby Eli. The only down side to the afternoon was when I left Grace watching Harper on the couch and Harper rolled on to the floor. Thankfully, she'll forget this unfortunate accident and will still love her Aunt Holly.
Congratulations on your little boy Ginger! You will never know how happy I am for you. Just stop running for a few weeks and let your body rest before he arrives. I love you Ging!

Happy Mother's Day!

This year for Mother's Day we had a family dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Hansen's house. We also celebrated Grandpa's 69th birthday and Ginger's birthday.
Thank you to all the mom's who mean so much to me....first and foremost, my own mom, my sisters, sister-in-laws and numerous friends who are all such an amazing example to me. I love you all!
