THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS WORKS:PART 14.

ARE WE ANTICHRIST?

We Must Repent.

1 John 2:22-23 (NKJV)

”[22] Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. [23] Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”

As believers, we deny Christ when we reject His teachings. Our actions often say, “Lord, I believe in You, but I do not believe in Your commandments.” Yet, obedience is the true mark of a believer:

1 John 2:3 (NKJV)

”[3] Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.”

The Call to Repent

John the Baptist began his ministry with a single command: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” (Matthew 3:2). The Lord Jesus began His ministry with those same words: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17).

Yet, we hesitate. We ask for more days, more time, and “yet a little sleep.”

Proverbs 6:9-11 (NKJV)

”[9] How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? [10] A little sleep, a little slumber… [11] So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler.”

The irony is that many of us are “rich paupers.” We feel wealthy because of our money, power, and status, but in reality, we are the poorest of all. We possess worldly goods while our souls are being lost. Often, we don’t even feel our spiritual poverty because we are immersed in sin. Lust and covetousness destroy the spirit just as leprosy destroys the flesh. We maintain a form of godliness, but God is not in us.

Let us not waste our salvation. It was “hard-earned,” not by us, but by the Lord. He purchased us—not with worthless gold or silver—but with His precious blood.

The Warning: Acting vs. Being

Woe unto us! We are often hypocrites and deceivers, we are stumbling blocks to the Gospel. We portray ourselves as Christians, but in truth, we act as “Anti-Christians.”

Revelation 3:11 (NKJV)

”Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”

What do we have? We have the love of God poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). How do we lose it? By walking in hatred.

We hold onto grudges and keep accounts of every wrong done by our neighbors and colleagues. But the Word is clear: “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him” (1 John 3:15).

1 John 2:9, 11 (NKJV)

“[9] He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness… [11] But he who hates his brother… does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”

We must REPENT.

The Purity of the Heart

Hell is at our doorstep when we deceive our neighbors or indulge in secret sins.

Matthew 6:22-23 (NKJV)

”The lamp of the body is the eye… If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

What are we doing with our social media? What malicious “forwards” are we receiving and sharing? Jesus warned that to look with lust is to commit adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:27-28). Even through a screen, we must guard our eyes. Our God is of purer eyes than to behold evil (Habakkuk 1:13).

The worst tragedy is being an “acting” believer. Among the congregation, we appear the most devout, but among the unbelieving, we are the least of all—lacking character, conduct, and righteousness in our words and deeds.

We must REPENT.

The God-Ordained Family

Our spouses and children are God-given. They belong to Him first; He purchased them at the cross. We are merely stewards. We should not seek to enslave or embitter one another.

Colossians 3:18-21 (NKJV)

”Wives, submit… Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter… Children, obey… Fathers, do not provoke your children.”

The family is a God-ordained system where two become one flesh (Matthew 19:4-6). Let us not harden our hearts against one another and become tools in the hands of Satan. Divorce and division spring from a hardness of heart that was never part of God’s original design.

We must REPENT.

The Final Word

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NKJV) warns us that in the last days, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, unloving, and unforgiving—having a form of godliness but denying its power.

If we continue to live without repentance—living as disobedient, rebellious children who deny our Savior through our Daily Walk—we are the Antichrist.

Repentance isn’t a one-time event but a direction we travel.

WE MUST REPENT.

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS WORKS:PART 13:

THE TIME FOR PREPARATION:

At times, life seems cruel and unforgiving. The happiness of a few days dries quickly like the morning dew, while the harshness of reality stares us in the face like the noon-day sun, scorching our skin.

Ecclesiastes 1:2-3 (CEV)

“Nothing makes sense! Everything is nonsense. I have seen it all—nothing makes sense! What is there to show for all of our hard work here on this earth?”

Like the burdened Israelites suffering under Pharaoh, we cry out day and night for an end to our struggle. Sometimes, we simply grow numb; we get used to the difficulty and begin to settle for minuscule pleasures. We convince ourselves that this is our fate and there is no escape.

Ecclesiastes 3:9 (CEV)

“What do we gain by all our hard work?”

For 400 years, the Israelites lived under Egyptian rule—generation after generation. Grandfathers, fathers, and sons heard stories of torture and death, witnessing them all around. It was slavery of the highest order. Their emotions only stirred with a full stomach or a cup of wine; their only adrenaline came from the cruelty and hatred of their neighbors.

Ecclesiastes 4:2-3 (CEV)

“I said to myself, ‘The dead are better off than the living. But those who have never been born are better off than anyone else, because they have never seen the terrible things that happen on this earth.'”

In today’s uncertain world, we are no different than those Israelites. We rarely see morality or righteous living in our leaders. Instead, we see the wicked thrive while people cheat and deceive one another.

Ecclesiastes 4:1 (CEV)

“I looked again and saw people being mistreated everywhere on earth. They were crying, but no one was there to offer comfort, and those who mistreated them were powerful.”

Our souls mourn, our hopes falter, and our dreams seem to fail. Help does not seem to come quickly, and our deepest questions go unanswered. Teachers are despised, and leaders are mocked. Holding onto the Christian faith feels like an uphill battle. Our children are growing up in households filled with quarrel, with few to draw them toward Christ. Even churches are compromising; willful sinners enter and leave without conviction, often celebrated merely for the offerings they bring.

Where is God?

Where are the righteous zealots, like Phinehas? Where are the prophets and the teachers?

Why am I compromising? Why am I foolish and rebellious? Why does my flesh still rule, rather than being crucified and buried forever? Why am I dry when it comes to true love and brotherhood?

The one certainty in life is that this world brings trouble and suffering. There is no exception for the faithful children of God. In fact, suffering is even more certain if you are called and elected.

Ecclesiastes 8:10-13 (CEV)

“…None of this makes sense. When we see criminals commit crime after crime without being punished, it makes us want to start a life of crime… but no one who sins and rejects God will prosper or live very long.”

The Path is Narrow

There is only one path, and it is truly narrow. One must prepare for adversity, or they are sure to fall by the wayside.

This is the time to prepare. The world order is changing rapidly, and soon, trouble may reach our very doorsteps. Some of us are already in exile.

Preparation is never easy—whether it’s for a simple class test, a life-changing exam, or a dream job interview. Intelligent people prepare beforehand to gain an edge. So, how do we prepare for the Lord’s work?

  • By systematically studying the Word of God.
  • By praying without ceasing.
  • By living in total obedience to His commands.
  • We must draw our strength from the true wine.

We must be sure of one thing:

Psalm 34:18 (CEV)

“The Lord is there to rescue all who are discouraged and have given up hope.”

He is compassionate and merciful.

Lamentations 3:22 CEV
[22] The Lord’s kindness never fails! If he had not been merciful, we would have been destroyed.

Yielding to the Potter

We must submit ourselves to God, letting the Potter have His way with the clay.

Romans 9:21 (CEV)

“Doesn’t a potter have the right to make a fancy bowl and a plain bowl out of the same lump of clay?”

Submission is difficult because of our rebellious nature. We often echo the stubbornness found in Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 18:12 (CEV)

“We don’t care what you say. We have made plans to sin, and we are going to be stubborn and do as we please!”

May we instead submit to God so that He can mold and prepare us. He has a unique pattern of preparation. He is like a Coach or a Teacher, involving Himself in our daily lives. He creates circumstances to help us learn, and He mentors us when we seek Him with our questions. When we fall a thousand times, He does not lose hope. He works tirelessly to perfect us.

Even for someone like me—slow to learn and stubborn—God is patient.

Do Not Waste the Wilderness

Now is the time for preparation. Do not waste it on mindless entertainment or “minuscule pleasures” like the Israelites did. Many who entered the wilderness unprepared died there. Some spent their entire lives hearing of the Promised Land but were never able to enter it.

Beware: this is not the time for wasting; it is the time for warring.

Do not be careless, if your household is drifting away from God. Call on Him day and night. This is a season of mercy—make use of it. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Nothing in this world can save you eternally except Jesus Christ. He is waiting, and He is coming soon.

May we be found in Him.

Lord, prepare me.

Amen.

The Holy Spirit and His works part 12:

THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The root word for baptism can be traced back through several languages:

Indo-European Root: The ultimate hypothetical root is gʷabh-, meaning “to dip.”

Greek: From gʷabh- comes the Greek verb báptō (βάπτω), meaning “to dip,” “immerse,” “steep,” “dye,” or “color.”

The verb baptízō (βαπτίζω), derived from báptō, means “to immerse,” “submerge,” “wash,” or “cleanse by dipping.” In the New Testament, it takes on the specific meaning of the religious rite of baptism.

The noun baptismós (βαπτισμός) refers to “ritual washing,” and báptisma (βάπτισμα), a New Testament neologism, specifically means “baptism.”

Latin: The Greek báptisma became baptismus.

Old French: Baptismus became baptême.

Middle English: This evolved into bapteme and baptesme.

English: Eventually, the word baptism emerged.

Therefore, the core idea embedded in the root of baptism is that of immersion or being submerged.

Because of this, sprinkling water on a child does not conform to the original meaning of baptism—an experience of knowing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, confessing our faith publicly, and receiving the forgiveness of our sins.

Such an act of faith cannot be expected from a child, and thus a child cannot meet the qualification of salvation through baptism.

Most believers my readers would have obeyed the Lord in water baptism, but the Lord has not left us with this experience alone. He graciously opened up a life-transforming, unique, and personal experience to all of us:

THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

Acts 1:5 (KJVAE)
[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

After obeying the Lord in water baptism, I was taught to desire the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.

I was told it is first a personal experience, and second, that it is followed by the sign of speaking in tongues.

I went to the Lord, crying and asking Him to bless me with this gift.

During the next church service, I received the baptism with the Holy Ghost, and at that very moment the gift of tongues followed seamlessly.

After nearly 27 years from my first experience of speaking in tongues as the sign of the Holy Spirit’s baptism, I have come to understand more deeply what it truly means to be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

As I grew in the anointing, I carried the presence of the Lord wherever I was called to share my testimony or preach the Word.
And I saw the signs the Lord promised.

Mark 16:17 (KJVAE)
[17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

This experience involves being immersed into a living Being—the Holy Spirit—one of the Godhead.

Like a pinch of salt immersed in water, which dissolves until the salt is no longer seen, so we should be immersed into Christ until we can declare:

It is not I, but Christ liveth in me.”

Galatians 2:20 (KJVAE)
[20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…

Salvation begins the moment we put our faith in Jesus Christ.
But there is also the process of being saved—being salt on the earth, a light in darkness, a city on a hill, and like the wise virgins, carrying extra oil for our lamps.

As we live on earth, we have a God-ordained plan and purpose which we must recognize and walk in.

Philippians 2:12(KJVAE)
[12] Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Baptism with the Holy Ghost also has a beginning and a process.

Philippians 2:13(KJVAE)
[13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

We must enter this Holy Ocean daily—going deeper and deeper so we may gain the perception of God.

We don’t gain in a day or even in one’s entire lifetime .

But guaranteed that  we get transformed everyday to His likeness and to His image.

Provided we don’t do a ritual kind of reading the Bible and praying everyday.

John 16:13-15 (KJVAE)
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. [14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. [15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

This should be our everyday experience—knowing God through His Word, with understanding given by the Holy Spirit.

This wisdom is found nowhere else—not in rituals,  other scriptures, mythologies, or holy pilgrimages.

Job 28:12-14 KJVAE
[12] But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? [13] Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. [14] The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.

Job 28:20-22 KJVAE
[20] Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding? [21] seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. [22] Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

Man can only have when God chooses to reveal it ,and our God the one and only God who made the heavens and the earth by His word chose to reveal Himself to us.

Job 28:23 ,28KJVAE
[23] God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place there of [28] And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

How do we know God? Only through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
To know Him is to know the Father.

John 14:5-7 KJVAE
[5] Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. [7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

You my readers, if you haven’t entered the river of God yet , do not dispair but just ask the Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 11:13 KJVAE
[13] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children; how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him.

Like a fish in the ocean ,may the Holy Spirit help us carry this ‘me in God’ experience every moment of our lives. Amen.

Receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“The Holy Spirit and His works” part 11:

DYING TO LIVE

From Weariness to Witness: Working Out Salvation Daily:

Our earthly existence often feels like living in a tent

2 Corinthians 5:1 CEV
[1]  Our bodies are like tents that we live in here on earth..

But , It’s a heavy burden—

2 Corinthians 5:4 CEV
[4] These tents we now live in are like a heavy burden, and we groan.

A constant barrage of emotional struggles, firefighting issues in work, family, and the world at large.

Where is the peace? Where is the rest my soul truly longs for? It’s natural, then, to confess that for many of us, the desire to leave this life eventually surfaces.

The Crucial Distinction: Paul’s Perspective:

Paul himself admitted it: to die and be with Christ would be “much better” .

(Philippians 1:23 CEV
[23] It is a hard choice to make. I want to die and be with Christ, because this would be much better.

But he immediately clarifies the anchor for this desire in Philippians 1:21: “If I live, it will be for Christ, and if I die, I will gain even more.”

The lesson here is that any longing for death that doesn’t include living fully for Christ is not from the Holy Spirit. The goal isn’t merely to escape; it is a transformation (2 Corinthians 5:4b,5).

The Daily Work of Salvation:

While Christ’s acceptance secured our ticket to heaven, we aren’t all thieves on a cross given a last-minute reprieve. We are called to be active participants.

As Philippians 2:12-13 commands, we must “work with fear and trembling to discover what it really means to be saved,” knowing that God works within us to enable that obedience.

This means facing the constant internal battle.

Even when we strive for good, we feel powerless against our own desires (Romans 7:18, 23-24).

We know that we don’t want to die as sinners, eternally separated from God—but wishful thinking won’t bridge that gap.

Honoring the Price Paid:

The real meaning of salvation is understanding the great price God paid (1 Corinthians 6:20). The reciprocation demanded is that we use our bodies—our whole selves—to honor God.

This requires making conscious choices every single day to cultivate good desires and saying “No” to our own desires through the Holy Spirit’s help (Romans 8:12-13).

We must be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). We must hold on to the catalyst for this change: “Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The Aroma of Obedience :

When we embrace this new identity, we become the aroma of Christ to the world (2 Corinthians 2:14-16).

We must stop maneuvering to get God to permit our will and instead choose joyful obedience, as the history of Balaam sadly taught (Numbers 23:10).

Ultimately, the path to peaceful completion—whether that is tomorrow or fifty years from now—is simple: “Respect and obey God! This is what life is all about” (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

As we continue this journey, we look up, knowing Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and Earth. Amen.

The Holy Spirit and His Works part 10:

Experiencing the Holy Spirit and Demonstrating His Power.

Psalms 104:4 NKJV
[4] Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.

Throughout the Christian world, every minister must desire to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit, especially the gifts of the Spirit. The demonstration or at least the preaching of the Holy Spirit is vital not only in the Pentecostal world but also in the Catholic and Orthodox traditions.

Luke 24:49 NKJV
[49] Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

Endued with power from on High”

Imparting the Holy Spirit’s Power:

II Kings 2:12-14 NKJV
[12] And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. [13] He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. [14] Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that, Elisha crossed over.

What was the significance of Elisha’s actions?

II Kings 2:8 NKJV
[8] Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

This was Elisha’s final and most recent witnessing of Elijah’s actions. He keenly observed the demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power operating through Elijah.

God’s power is shared with fragile humans.

The Holy Spirit is Holy:

We must keep our vessels holy and clean. Believers should understand that the indwelling presence of Holy God in them is not to be taken for granted. We must give the same reverence we give in partaking of the Lord’s table. Here, we commune with the Holy Spirit daily, our bodies serving as the altar.

Elisha was revered as a holy man of God.

II Kings 4:8-9 NKJV

[8] Now it happened one day that Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she persuaded him to eat some food. So it was, as often as he passed by, he would turn in there to eat some food. [9] And she said to her husband, “Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly.

The Shunammite woman testified to her husband that Elisha was indeed a holy man of God. Her statement was based on regular observation as and when Elisha visited her house and had food.

What kind of testimony do we receive from our own family, neighborhood, colleagues, friends, church, and the public at large?

I Thessalonians 4:3-8 NKJV
[3] For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; [4] that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, [5] not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; [6] that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. [7] For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. [8] Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

No believing Christian can ignore the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, for it is only through Him that we can call God “Abba, Father.”

Galatians 4:6 NKJV
[6] And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

Romans 8:15-16 NKJV
[15] For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” [16] The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
Amen.

So it is paramount that all children of God keep their vessels pure in sanctification and in honour.

Holy Spirit is our friend:

Believers, have restricted the Holy Spirit within the perimeters of praying in tongues.

It’s like someone who wants to swim deep but, upon reaching the river bank, is satisfied by only dipping their legs in the water.

what should we seek in relation to the Holy Spirit? First and foremost, the Holy Spirit is our friend. We should be seeking Him as a friend.

John 15:15 NKJV
[15] No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

God longed for our friendship from the beginning. When He found a friend, God made the entire world know him as a friend of God.

Isaiah 41:8 NKJV
[8] “But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend.”

Exodus 33:11 NKJV

[11] So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend…

We must experience the Holy Spirit as our friend. Only then can we know the heart and mind of God.

God’s prophets are first His friends.

God through Jesus Christ extended this friendship to all believers.

For us, those saved by Grace, it is the greatest privilege to be known by God. And God is more gracious to give an open invitation to be God’s friends.

The irony, however, is that only a few pursue God’s own heart.

Many are called, but few are chosen—those who persevere in pursuing God’s own heart.

It is dangerous to exercise faith through the gifts of the Holy Spirit without a consistent relationship with the Giver of the gifts.

We shouldn’t end up saying, “Lord, Lord, in Your name we cast out demons,” and hear the Lord say, “I do not know you.”

Relationship requires significant commitment, endurance, and perseverance, as the Apostle Paul exemplified.

II Corinthians 11:23-29 NKJV
[23] Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. [24] From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. [25] Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; [26] in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; [27] in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— [28] besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches. [29] Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?

What is so special about this relationship that makes Paul and the other apostles suffer so much for Christ? It is a wonder; unless we too experience the depth of this great Love, we may not fully understand or comprehend it—

His Love, Jesus’ Love. The river of His Love never, ever dries up.

Romans 5:5 NKJV
[5] Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

We must experience God’s Love every day. God is Love.

Flowing in the fullness of God’s Love and His power:

Ephesians 3:16-19 NKJV
[16] that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, [17] that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, [18] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— [19] to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

We may not know the precise moment when we receive the filling of the fullness of God; it can only be experienced, when we exercise our faith, like Elisha’s experience when Elijah departed. Elisha did not know he had received the double portion of Elijah’s anointing. But for this experience ,the very moment he exercised his faith and struck the river with Elijah’s mantle – he knew that the Lord ,God of Elijah ,has  now graciously chosen to be the Lord, God of Elisha.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 NKJV
[9] That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done…

When we immerse ourselves in the living waters, the filling of the fullness of God will lead us to proclaim, “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” Literally nothing can come between such a love relationship.

When our cup runs over, that moment is like “walking on the waters”.

How sad it would be to finish our race without   walking with Him in this life on this earth and experiencing the fullness of God within us.

This life is fleeting and will never be experienced again .

We should be spending it in sharing His purpose.

John 3:16 NKJV
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Father God , in Jesus’ name we pray, please help us experience you in our earthen vessels. May You pour your Love into our hearts through thy Holy Spirit. May we be filled with all the fullness of you. May we walk with you as your friends, fully accomplishing all the purpose you have planned in our lives, and forever, throughout eternity, may our beloved Jesus be ours, and we be His. Let nothing separate us from your Love. In Christ Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

The Holy Spirit and His Works part 6:

HE IS OUR SOURCE

“Sustaining a ministry requires sustenance from the Holy Spirit”.

There are people everywhere who have a form of godliness but are faking it.

A time is coming—indeed, it is near—when God will measure every household, every church, and every pulpit. He will clearly distinguish those He favors, those He approves, and those He does not.

The light of Jesus will truly shine upon His faithful, upon those who have obeyed His commandments.

Therefore, be encouraged, brothers and sisters; truly, your reward is at hand.

Blessed is the servant who continues doing the work ordained for him, even when his Master is not present.

Blessed are those who endure.

He loved us first, and we too will love Him, as we have received so much love from Him that we cannot contain it. Amen.

Sustaining a ministry is not an easy task. One must sustain oneself in personal life, family life, and social life as a good soldier of Christ to effectively minister.

Billy Graham said in a sermon preached at a football stadium in San Jose, CA, in 1981:
“I cannot live the Christian life; I have no power within me to live the Christian life. The Holy Spirit has to live in me, and Christ has to live through me. I cannot live the Christian life; I am a total flop and a failure.””

“Apostle Peter says in 2 Peter 1:3 AMP:
[3] For His divine power has bestowed on us absolutely everything necessary for a dynamic spiritual life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

Therefore, it is clear that not only for Billy Graham or Peter, but for every believer in Christ, sustenance must come from the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. This sustenance is cultivated through true and personal knowledge of Jesus Christ, which we gain from the Word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Total surrender, total dependability, and total commitment are the keys to a victorious Christian life.

If this is the case, then we preachers of the Word, ministers of God, do we take time to sit at the feet of the Lord for our own spiritual well-being?

Are we relying on the collective strength of our church associates or mission staff?
Though that may help, how long can it sustain us?

Only when a wall is sound can it be painted. A broken wall is of no use to a painter, and similarly, a struggling servant of God is of no profit to his church.

Realization and recognition of our own vulnerability will prevent us from falling into a deep pit.

When we realize we are poor in spirit, we will always depend solely on Jesus Christ.”

“On whom are you depending today?

Matthew 5:3 CEV:
[3] God blesses those people who depend only on him. They belong to the kingdom of heaven!

Just as a vine and its branches draw sustenance from the root, so we must draw our sustenance from the Word of God.
We must also draw from the rivers of living water that dwell within us.

First, you are an individual believer, irrespective of your calling, and then you sustain your calling.

2 Peter 1:5-6, 8-10 CEV:
[5] Do your best to improve your faith by adding goodness, understanding, [6] self-control, patience, and devotion to God. [8] If you keep growing in this way, it will show that what you know about our Lord Jesus Christ has made your lives useful and meaningful. [9] But if you don’t grow, you are like someone who is nearsighted or blind, and you have forgotten that your past sins are forgiven. [10] Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble.

We cannot afford the danger of ignoring our inner selves, those areas in our lives needing review, repair, and restoration.

Sin is lurking at our door, and its desire is to have us.

We should not be complacent or careless toward those signs that our hearts alone will clearly capture.

And then, our loved ones will find them out.
If we fail to repent…

2 Peter 2:20-22 CEV:
[20] When they learned about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they escaped from the filthy things of this world. But they are again caught up and controlled by these filthy things, and now their condition is worse than it was at first. [21] It would have been better for them if they had never known the right way. Even after they knew what was right, they turned their backs on the holy commandments they were given. [22] What happened to them is just like the true saying, “A dog returns to its own vomit, and a washed pig returns to wallowing in the mud.”

Now is the right time to heed these warnings and return to our Lord.

What profit is there for us if we gain the whole world but lose our own soul?

Ephesians 6:24 CEV:
[24] May God’s grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

Amen.

The Holy Spirit and His Works Part 7:

GOD THE FATHER GOD THE SON GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

Are we in the Holy Spirit? Do we know the Holy Spirit as He should be known? If so, then what?

We will explore the answer to these questions in three parts.

Part One: Are We in the Holy Spirit?

From Romans 8:9-11, each verse begins with a thought-provoking, or rather, a pondering question:

Romans 8:9: “If indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you…”

Romans 8:10: “And if Christ is in you…”

Romans 8:11: “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you…”

A born-again believer’s status is defined in:

1 Corinthians 12:3 NKJV: “[3] Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.”

From this verse, we can discern those who belong to Christ.

Born-again believers are those who have fulfilled the believer’s decrees as stated below:

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV: “[9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

1 John 1:9 NKJV: “[9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Then, the Holy Spirit will bear witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

Romans 8:15-16 NKJV: “[15] For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” [16] The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”

Every creature has a dwelling place on this earth. Lions dwell in dens, birds in nests, and humans in houses.

Likewise, we, as born-again Christians, have a dwelling place, and that is the Holy Spirit.

We do not dwell in the flesh, but we dwell in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:9 NKJV: “[9] But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

We should change our perspective on our own identity. Who we were is insignificant, but who we have become is the most significant event in our lives.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV: “[17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

As born-again believers:

WE ARE IN CHRIST. WE ARE A NEW CREATION. THE OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY.

What has passed away has lost its significance.

WE ARE A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST.

And this is the most significant event in our lives.

We have to renew our minds.

When God created the first man, Adam, he was a brand new creation. God formed man from the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and he became a living being.

Genesis 2:7 NKJV: “[7] And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

Likewise, we too have become a brand new, born-again being in Christ.

John 20:22 NKJV: “[22] And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.””

Jesus breathed the breath of the Holy Spirit into our spirits, and we became a new creation in Christ. At that moment, we became conscious of the Living God.

John 3:5-6 NKJV: “[5] Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

When we observe the lifestyle of sons and daughters of kings or the very rich and elite of this world, we tend to say they were born with silver or golden spoons. But for those elite children, it is a normal way of life; from birth, they have known no other lifestyle than the lavish one.

Likewise, we are born into God, into the very presence of God, the Most Holy of Holies. Our spirit indwells in the Holy Spirit.

That is what Paul mentions in:

Galatians 2:20 NKJV: “[20] I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

No longer do I live, but CHRIST LIVES IN ME.

We are born-again believers; we have found the answer that we are indeed in the Holy Spirit.

“Now, let’s find the answer to the second part of the question asked at the beginning of this article:

Do we know the Holy Spirit as He should be known?

Now is the time for all born-again believers to understand the truth and knowledge of God, the Holy Spirit.

He is not some formless power or force. He is God and one among the Trinity.

Let’s return to verse 9 of the book of Romans, chapter 8:

Romans 8:9 NKJV
[9] But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Could we notice the Triune Godhead appearing in this verse?
Holy Spirit, God, Christ.

1 John 5:7 NKJV
[7] For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are three independent entities, and at the same time, they are one.

The Triune God, together and in their independent capacities as three Godheads of the Trinity, executed the plan for the reconciliation of fallen mankind back to themselves.

For the sake of establishing a timeline in human history, we can say God the Father’s era was from the beginning to the birth of Jesus Christ. God the Son’s era was from the birth to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit’s era is from the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the ascension of the Church, the bride, to its soon-coming Bridegroom.

Having said that, we can always see, right from the beginning of the Book of Genesis to the end of the Book of Revelation, all three Godheads complementing each other, and their works interwoven.

“Now, as born-again believers, we understand that we have God the Holy Spirit indwelling us.
Let us proceed to answer the third and final part of the question:

If yes, then what?

Firstly, we must understand some non-negotiable terms and conditions:

* The Holy Spirit glorifies and honors Jesus in us and through us. We cannot even call Jesus our Lord and Savior except through the revelation given to us by the Holy Spirit. He opens the eyes of our inner being.

Refer to what Jesus said to Peter:

   Matthew 16:16-17 NKJV
[16] Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” [17] Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”
* The next important aspect is that we must obey the commandments laid before us:

   Matthew 22:37, 39-40 NKJV
[37] Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
[39] And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ [40] On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

* A specific way of life is laid out for us as born-again Christians. We are duty-bound to show this difference in our lives so that the unbelieving world can see and take notice. We are light, salt, and a cure to this world through Jesus Christ our Lord.

   Ephesians 4:25-32 NKJV
[25] Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. [26] “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, [27] nor give place to the devil. [28] Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. [29] Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. [30] And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. [31] Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. [32] And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Why are all the above three instructions truly important?”

Because,  first of all we did not get saved and  receive God in us as an inheritance or birth right. We are purchased by the precious blood of Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate price with His own life.
The scriptures says when we are yet sinners Christ died for us and  by Grace we are saved  and not by works that any man could boast.

when God the Holy Spirit comes to us He brings along with Him the power and the authority which are the identity of believers in Christ.

Luke 10:19 NKJV
[19] Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Secondly the gifts of the Holy Spirit also operate on the chosen vessels of God.

I Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV
[4] There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. [5] There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. [6] And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: [8] for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, [10] to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. [11] But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

This makes a believer and a minister iimmensely responsible towards his conduct as he is not any more an individual but a representative or an extension of the Kingdom of the living God.

If a believer or a chosen vessel fails in his or her conduct it affects the body of Christ, the Mission of Christ and the Holy , righteous name of Christ Jesus.

That is the reason Jesus also gave this warning..

Luke 6:46-49 NKJV
[46] “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? [47] Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: [48] He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. [49] But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

Let us build ourselves in the Lord with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Listing down few of works of the Holy Spirit:

He Convict our conscience towards our wrong doings and bring us to repentance and reconciliation.(Heb 3:7-15)

He gives directions to us and the church
(Acts 8:29 /Acts 20:19/acts 13:2 /john14:26)

The Holy Spirit always leads us to the  truth Jesus Christ (John 16:13).

He helps us to destroy sinful desires of the flesh and live a holy life.(Romans 8:14).

He intercedes through us helping us in our weakness and prays according to the will of the Father God.(Romans 8:26)

He  restores our sonship to call ,God ,our Father.(Romans 8:15)

He empowers us to live victorious Christian life (Romans 8:13-14).

He makes us do extraordinary deeds which are humanly impossible (Romans 15:29).

He is our Joy giver and builder of our hope in Christ Jesus.(Romans 5:5 and Romans 15:23).
Amen.

When the Lord God Holy Spirit manifest through us in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord , we must second it with our good conduct and godly life.

Galatians 5:22, 24-26 NKJV
[22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[23] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
[24] And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. [25] If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. [26] Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

The sweet Holy Spirit , our indwelling, ever present helper  , helps us to Live in  Him and Walk in the Him,  in Jesus name .

Amen and Amen.

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS WORKS: PART 9:

THE LORD IS OUR REFUGE:

Matthew 27:46 NKJV
[46] And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

unimaginable agony, an eternal pain. The very thought of separation from the living God is distressing.”

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV
[5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

The punishment of our sins is eternal separation from God our creator.

But God found a way, and it was a painful decision for the Triune God.”

Because of the terrible events planned for the Son of God, the ultimate consequence being the Son of Man’s separation from His Heavenly Father.”

It is equally painful for God the Father and the Holy Spirit .

The Son of Man was so deeply loved that God the Father left no stone unturned in voicing His love from heaven.”

Matthew 3:17 NKJV
[17] And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Mark 9:7 CEV
[7]  The shadow of a cloud passed over and covered them. From the cloud a voice said, “This is my Son, and I love him. Listen to what he says!”

John 11:41-42 CEV
[41] After the stone had been rolled aside, Jesus looked up toward heaven and prayed, “Father, I thank you for answering my prayer. [42] I know that you always answer my prayers. But I said this, so the people here would believe you sent me.”

In this world seldom we see such an affectionate Father and Son duo. Each of them willing to do whatsoever the other asks.

Such a loving relationship between the Son and Father can make us feel envious.”

But we should not forget that the ultimate shared purpose of the Triune God is to redeem us mankind to themselves. To save each and everyone of us.

Is not that amazing. How much God could love,  the unworthy, undeserving Sinners like us.

2 Timothy 1:9-10 CEV
[9] God saved us and chose us to be his holy people. We did nothing to deserve this, but God planned it because he is so kind. Even before time began God planned for Christ Jesus to show kindness to us. [10] Now Christ Jesus has come to offer us God’s gift of undeserved grace. Christ our Savior defeated death and brought us the good news. It shines like a light and offers life that never ends.

Sometimes we do not understand,
When we go through tough times, we ask, ‘Why on earth do we have to go through this?'”
Terrible health condition, unending issues in marriage, unsettled children, financial difficulties the list goes on and on .

One might question why we endure difficulties in a Christian life, while others seem to live carefree, happy-go-lucky lives.”

But for us the tunnel seems unending.

At that very instance , comes His word
“be of good cheer “

John 16:33 NKJV
[33] These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

The very purpose of God reconciling us to Him is to have that eternal fellowship with us .

“I believe God values our fellowship. Though we are His creations, we are unique and different from angelic beings.”

In the beginning God walked in the garden of Eden in the cool of day.

Genesis 3:9 NKJV
[9] Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

later Jesus walked in the sea of Galilee searching for His friends Peter , Andrew, John and James

Where are you ,friend of God?

Are you hiding from God because of the mess you created, or are you still confused and conveniently shifting blame onto your spouse, children, colleagues, leadership, church, etc.?”

Come to Jesus, your true friend. Surprisingly, He still loves us despite the mess we’ve created and our tendency to blame others, even God, as Adam did when he said, ‘The woman you gave me.’ We often echo this, saying, ‘The woman you gave me, the boss you gave me, the church you gave me, the leadership you gave me,’ etc.”

In this world we shall have trouble,

James 1:2-4 CEV
[2]  My friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. [3] You know you learn to endure by having your faith tested. [4] But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything.

It is easier said than done, I know, but it is not an impossible request.”

We have The Holy Spirit , He never leaves us nor forsakes us ,He is our helper and always willing to guide us to the light, the word of God and teaches us patiently in spite of us throwing a lot of tantrums.

He is our refuge; we will be safe and secure in Him, our rock.”

The only thing is , it depends on how quickly we realise our helplessness and run to him, which would spare us deep wounds and bruises.

Psalms 91:2-4 NKJV
[2] I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” [3] Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. [4] He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Jesus literally said in these lines to the people of Jerusalem, unfortunately they hardened their hearts.

Luke 13:34 CEV
[34]  Jerusalem, Jerusalem! Your people have killed the prophets and have stoned the messengers who were sent to you. I have often wanted to gather your people, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. But you wouldn’t let me.

As a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, so the wings of the Holy Spirit , they are much stronger and more powerful than those of any bird.”

Let us run to Him; He is our Refuge. Whatever tomorrow holds, Jesus is our refuge, and under His wings we are safe.”

We have to obey these words quickly, trying to  find quick fixes and doing as the world does, is worthless and a waste of time and will cost a lot on our health and well being.

Ephesians 4:30-32 CEV
[30] Don’t make God’s Spirit sad. The Spirit makes you sure that someday you will be free from your sins. [31] Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don’t yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude. [32]  Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.

May the Holy Spirit help us obey. Lord, help us not only to hear Your word but also obey your word.”

Let our eyes be opened to the eternal glory awaiting us , shortly we shall be there ,until then may your Love fill our hearts and renew our minds , transform us to be more like Jesus and let us never be ashamed of the gospel of Christ Jesus, which is power to us unto salvation as we believe.

We love you
In Jesus name we pray heavenly Father Amen.

The Holy Spirit and His Works:Part 8                                   “WALKING WITH GOD”

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Genesis 5:24 NKJV

[24] And Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

Genesis 6:9 NKJV

[9] …Noah walked with God.

What does this mean, Walking with God?

Is it humanly possible to walk with God every day?

What was so special about Enoch and Novah?

Let us explore…

Enoch had this testimony that he pleased God.

Enoch did not see death!! Amazing! He was taken in flesh to heaven!! Wonderful!

Before he was taken away, Enoch had this testimony: that he pleased God.

How can one walk all his life pleasing God? That too for 365 years. Ok, let’s take it 300 years, because Enoch became a family man at the age of 65 .

Genesis 5:23 NKJV

[23] So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.

Now let us see the life of Noah.

Here is a similar testimony to Enoch.

Just man, perfect in his generations.

Genesis 6:9 NKJV

[9] This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

Can we walk with God all our earthly life, pleasing God, being just and perfect?

If we desire, is that too hard for the Lord?

Like Peter did! That, which is humanly impossible, to walk on the waters.

Peter desired , asked, and walked on the waters, by Faith.

Why do we say Faith?!

Because when Peter started drowning and cried for help to Jesus, the Lord said this…

Matthew 14:31 NKJV

[31] And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Let us also look for Enoch and Novah in the New Testament.

We can find some insights from the author of the Book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 11:5 NKJV

[5] By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

From the days of Adam and his generation as mentioned in Genesis chapter 5, everyone lived a long life—800 years, 900 years, and so on—but none of them had this testimony that they walked with God. Here Enoch lived only less than 1/2 of the life span of his forefathers but carried a commendation that he pleased God and walked with Him.

And he not only walked with God but also ordered his children in the ways of the Lord so that his great-grandson Noah followed his footsteps.

In Noah’s days the whole world was wicked, and terrible sins prevailed. On one hand, the earth was getting filled by human beings, and on the other hand, God saw the wickedness of men was great on earth, and every intent and thought of men’s hearts was only evil. God was grieving that he should not have made human beings and is contemplating destroying everyone, even the animals and reptiles.

(Genesis chapter 6:3-7).

But in the midst of all this chaos, there lived a man called Noah who carried a commendation that he was just and perfect in his generation.

Following in the footsteps of our patriarchs of faith, we believers can also walk every day with God, pleasing God.

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

[6] But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Amen.

Every believing Christian is entitled to this privilege of walking with God all through their life journey on this earth and carrying on to eternity.

The Just shall live by Faith’.

Galatians 3:11 NKJV

[11] But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”

Whosoever we are, it is possible to walk with God, spending time learning about Him through the scriptures, knowing God and His heart, and we shall be like David, Man after God’s own heart.

It was made possible by the Lord Jesus himself; His love, His grace, and wonderful mercies made this possible.

May our good and merciful Lord Jesus Christ grant our heart’s desires to walk with Him, pleasing Him every day by faith in His name and in His word.

May the Holy Spirit of God lead us and guide us into all the truth in the Bible, to seek the Lord diligently every day and grow in His knowledge and wisdom, and to lead a practicing Christian life.

Let our light shine for Jesus. Amen.

Recently I was hospitalised thrice in a span of 13 days. I couldn’t even seek prayers from my known circle. It was like home calling so much so, when I got admitted to the emergency room for the third time, I thought, Ok, this is it; I am on my way to heaven.

On one side I thought it was good I depart to eternal rest; on the other side I was thinking, No, there is some more left to be done here.

I became tired in my spirit, like there was no more faith left for me, and a lot of doubts came into my mind.

But in the midst of all that chaos, the Holy Spirit was filling my heart with songs of praise and prayers.

Between my second and third hospitalisation, I was in my daily devotion studying the gospel of Matthew, and the Lord showed that even John the Baptist had this struggle when he was in prison.

And encouraged me that in the midst of trials I should not be doubting but believe.

Matthew 11:6 AMP

[6] And blessed [joyful, favoured by God] is he who does not take offence at Me [accepting Me as the Messiah and trusting confidently in My message of salvation].”

Throughout the study from the book of Mathews, I could come across many instances where it mentioned that. Jesus healed all their sicknesses.

Matthew 14:14 NKJV

[14] And when Jesus went out, He saw a great multitude, and He was moved with compassion for them and healed their sick.

Matthew 14:36 NKJV

[36] and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.

Matthew 15:30 NKJ

[30] Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.

Every time I came across those scriptures that said Jesus moved with compassion and healed all their sickness, my faith within me also grew.

My friends and relatives poured their hearts in fervent prayers , visiting in person, over a call, praying, encouraging and supporting me with all possible help.

Thanks to the Lord ,I got discharged from the hospital and recovered well.

Thank you, Jesus.

Dear readers, I encourage you to put your trust in the Lord Jesus. The Lord always helps us; He is our number one well-wisher.

Jesus loves you.
