We helped Jason construct an X-Wing fighter out of his truck. Ian got to lay under it on the creeper and help put on some bolts. He was very excited for the completion. We all went as star wars characters.. And we did have a great time.

Canoeing down the Kankakee River

Fireworks with the boys...
We had a good time with the Gerber clan and chasing all 6 boys around the fireworks. The boys had a blast and we got some cute pictures, so I thought I would post them. Ian's hair seems to be getting curlier the longer it gets.. He lucked out with my curls.. even though I like mine straight.. they look so cute on him though.. He sure is missing a lot of teeth right now.. poor kid..
Recent Utah Trip to see Family..

VW Classic Trip 09
Had the opportunity to make a trip to the Classic with some of my vw buddies from SLC. Also got to see my family while we were out there. We went snorkeling at La Jolla Cove in San Diego as well as the boys enjoyed getting covered in wet sand..

Zion Trip!! Such a blast!
So I thought I would get some friends together and take a trip to Zion before I moved. We did and it was such a blast. Riley and I had to get up at 530am to get permits and we were the last one's that got them in the am... it was such a fun trip and we had such a good group.. No one really knew each other except for me, but I think everyone is pretty close now. We slept 8 people in our little hotel room to save money. It was amazing though!! I will miss the mountains when I move!

Changing Clark's Brakes
So my buddy Clark needed a favor.. He couldn't pass inspections because his entire brake system was bad. He hadn't changed brakes before so I told him since he helped me out a few times, I would change his brakes for him. But he would also have to learn how and help. He was the muscles in the job as his rotars were rusted on so bad that we could barely get them off.. After you see what his brake pads looked like, you will realize that some men don't know anything about cars.. (sorry Clark :) ..) and that sometimes a girl has to step in and do the job for them. My dad would be proud..! hehe...

Rock Climbing Logan Canyon
I found some pictures of when I took the boys climbing with some friends one night up Logan Canyon.. It was pretty hilarious to see them in the gear.. I did realize that they like indoor climbing but the outdoor climbing definitely freaks them out. They were troopers though and it was definitely a dose of comedy to watch.. I love these kids..

Logan... I'm going to miss living in this place..
Logan is where I have been located for the past while to finish up schooling. I fell in love with the outdoors and having a canyon right in my back yard. Anything and everything you could want to do was there.. It's going to be a huge change being in the midwest.. hopefully I will still have the opportunity to get some snowboarding trips in during the winters. Here are my fond memories of Logan..

GRADUATION!!
So it's finally here.. I'm finally graduating. It seems like it's been forever since I started down this road. I would like to say that I am completely done, however, I'm just hitting the half way mark. So my major celebration will be in 4 more years. But for now, here are the dates and times for mine...
