Are We Done Yet?

Kayla was in a school "Turkey Trot" today and I was so proud of her!!! She ran her heart out- 4Th place YEAH way to GO!! She even got up there after her race when the 5th graders challenged the 4Th graders to a race! She is worn out but had a blast and the funniest part I would have to say was the teachers getting up to challenge each other for a race- WAY funny ( it's last pic by the way)!! Fun day for all- Emma's class dressed up in their costumes- they chose from being a pilgrim or an Indian - Em chose a pilgrim and she looked so cute with her friend Rory! So last post before Thanksgiving but I hope everybody has a Blessed Thursday and I want each of you to know WE r so thankful for all of you even friends and family I hardly get to see ( or never !! LOL) we love ya HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! :)

All of my family and friends and today I was extra thankful that I am surrounded by a great group of neighborhood friends for myself and my children :) ! We had "Thanksgiving at the Walser's" today- everyone brought yummy food..... let's see we had chicken ( I know, but I don't know how to cook a turkey!?? LOL) mac n cheese ( thanks to Nora- yum!) sweet potato casserole ( LOVED it Jules!) awesome green beans and corn ( Thanks so much Jess- the green beans were Jaxs favorite part! :) ) Apple crumble ( I HAVE to get this recipe and post it - Holly is a great cook!) and Cashies favorite Mrs. Carrie's turkey cookies that look like they are from Martha Stewart herself!! And to top it off Carrie made the CUTEST Pilgrim hats for the boys and bonnets for the girls ( only two girls though - we need some more girlies all u preggo people!!) Thank u soo much each and everyone of you I adore and love you- I truly am thankful to have friends that just love me back no matter what!! :) Carrie your mom is the best - can she just stay here??? LOL! I had a blast and the kids I know, had so much fun- so are we ready to start planning a Christmas party??? LOL I'll wait until after next Thursday to begin the emails! Ha ! We missed everyone who couldn't come, but anytime u want to bring food to my house- ALL are welcomed!! :) Have a great day and my boys feel right asleep today so that in itself is such a blessing ! :)

So yall are going to gag, but this is dedicated to my hubby Jeremy....... I just sat down to fold some clothes ( FUN--- LOL!!) and turned on Oprah- I only watched this one segment so not sure what the show is about but the clothes will wait while I blog this or maybe folding clothes can wait until tomorrow sometime :) ...... On O's show it talked about a couple who meet while the man ( Herman Rosenblat- what a name!) was in a concentration camp and the woman was a young girl that lived next to the camp.... she would feed him an apple through the fence every day until he was transported to another camp and then when he was set free years later he was set up on a blind date with her! WOW!!- Go read the story on O, and YES I cried, but only because she new and he knew the love they had for each other was forever and always and this is how I feel about my husband- now don't get me wrong I am SURE there may be- will be- days I complain ( sorry honey), but through it all ( we have been through A LOT in the 8 years we have known each other!) I feel soo blessed to find this man, to have this man in my life forever - He is the love of my life and I am looking forward to the day we are old, grey and wrinkled ( well old and wrinkled, I will dye my hair until death!! LOL) together :) I love ya J and thank you for loving me and giving me 3 beautiful babies and giving Kayla the gift of what a true father is - treating her as your own ( she DOES act more like u than me anyway- and u R her Big Daddy !! :) ) Here's to MANY ( yes honey MANY!!!) more years together :) So sorry for the cheese, but I hope each one of you that reads this gives their hubby ( or wifey) a special little note, a kiss, a hug something just to let them know how much they are adored ( sometimes, right HA!) !! :)

Today my friend Carrie and her sweet mom came with us to the "Bee movie"- it was soo cute. I think I had the best time watchin the kids get excited- Cash danced to every song and Jack pointed to every plane that was in the movie ( his daddy fly's- airplanes that is! :) ) everybody was sooo well behaved ( thank you Lord! LOL) I didn't even get a pic of little Henry! He was his cute, chubby self though- I had such a great time - thanks Carrie for hangin' out with the gang- we will have to do that again :)

Kayla LOVES to ride horses- she just loves any horse, but Tag is her favorite over at Mrs. Deb's house! He is so gentle and sweet with Kayla it makes me a little ( a LITTLE I said! LOL!) less nervous when she does hop on because I know he is taking good care of my girl!! Here are some pics of today and Kayla gettin'- ready to ride..... and Em just hangin out by the barn- no riding for her yet she likes horses from a distance! :)

Ok so I know any of you who has a child in soccer thinks your child's a soccer star, but that's what is sooo great about being a parent, right??!! LOL! This was Emma's 2nd time playing soccer ( she played back in the spring) and she just loves it! She is not super competitive by nature ( she gets this from her Daddy because U all KNOW I am!) she was just excited she had her great friends on her team! CJ was as always her protector if anyone got to close he would chase them down and the ball and kick it WAY down the field :) and miss Kiley kept it all in check and made sure they talked when they were supposed to and when the ball came near they had to break apart to show em how it's done :)!! We really had a great team ( 2 loses but they don't count wins/loses in this age only us parents do) ! AND we had the BEST coach ( Ryan your laugh makes everyone around smile :) ) and the assistant coach was pretty cute too ( it was JEREMY don't worry :P)! I loved watchin them play- Jaxs loved the snacks- and Cash well..... he just ran everywhere ( thank the heavenly Father that He gave to me such wonderful In-laws/Grandparents to help out chasin' Cash!)GO TIGERS! Can't wait till spring ( or can I with the Sundays and Fridays off whats a mom to do?- oh yeah take the others to karate, and horseback, and awana's and..... :) Oh yeah and Brenden....... Soccer shoes are soo much cuter when pink!LOL!

We had breakfast for dinner ( love these nights!) and daddy made a fire in the fire pit the other night so we all made s'mores- only each child has their own way.......

Kayla and Jaxs like theirs a little toasted with no graham or chocolate for Jaxs and just a chocolate piece for Kayla, Em holds hers on the fire for maybe 1 sec then she says "PERFECT!" (??- to each his/her own,right?) Daddy and Mommy are the only ones who made "REAL" s'mores, but we had a great night and did what I love best- spend time with my family- nothing can beat that! :)
