U amaze me....

Kayla boo! Today was her first Horse show and she did awesome!!! She did 4 events and did great on all of them- no jumping today ( thank goodness! :)I hold my breath very time she jumps - I know NOTHING about the "art" of jumping nor do I intend to ever find out- Kayla can do that!lol) she needs to place in a few before she can jump...but it looks like that won't be long she placed 5th,4th,2nd, and 1st in her events- Way to go girlie:)

I'm a bloggin fool lately huh?- bet every time you guys visit the blog u are waiting for some news but that looks like not to be anytime soon to me and I am kinda enjoying the last squirms, kicks, JABS of a baby inside:) I may look miserable but really I am feeling ok- way tired but thanks for all your prayers and love and pretty soon we will all get to met the infamous Briggs!! lol

Pool Time

We headed to the pool today and stayed pretty much all day-- so fun! Really it was..... I didn't have to entertain just sit back throw some pool toys and watch my kiddos play! Jaxson is such a fish... I did have to warn all around him that while he may look like he is drowning he is in fact swimming..... just he likes to "swim" in his own way! lol The girls were great - playing together as usual- This is one HUGE blessing I have found personally for our family and homeschooling- they are the best of friends which I couldn't say this a few years ago... to watch them support each other, love each other so much truly is a great gift:) so here are the pics of the day- thanks Jess for coming and hangin out- we had so much fun:)

What to do.....

When your waiting for a brother?....... ART! While talking about different types of art we looked at relief art ( funny under the circumstances huh...relief?? lol) I got this idea from this new blog that I am LOVING for homeschool and plan on doing many of her activities through summer-- check it out... the one with the paint chips are so cool too! We actually made a trip to the Walmart paint section today and I know the man thought I was CRAZY for picking out over 50 samples!! lol

We are going to try the neighborhood pool tomorrow- hopefully no one will be there since school is still in and so no one can comment on how small my bathing suit top looks- it may be maternity but nothing fits this belly!! :)

No News....

Well it seems that Briggs is wanting to wait it out for his arrival ......after more than 48 hours of contractions all has come to a stop- I may get a few good ones here and there but nothing like it was... I have to say I was a little frustrated last night when I felt them get farther and farther apart, but then after sitting and having a little talk with Mr. Briggs and God I felt an overwhelming peace telling me its just not time yet... who knows what the next few days will bring-- I plan on taking advantage of having some energy back and taking the kids to the park....walking like crazy... and enjoying the moments no matter how much I want to meet Briggs! :) This is all so new ( ummm not birth! lol) to me as I have always had contractions- went to the hospital and been given meds to help the contractions along and out came baby soon after-- the body is an amazing thing and I just have to learn patient and let it do its thing:) needed a little reminder of that from a few people though- thanks ladies! lol love you all and keep ya updated! :)

Waiting......

Wow what a crazy few days! We celebrated Jaxs bday - He's 5!!! - I fought off a cold, which I feel MUCH better with that and then ....... LABOR!! Yes thats right... I am in Labor but my body is going O sooooo VERY slow 20 min all day yesterday then 6-7 from about 130 this morning and same thing now;) I am a little frustrated though as these contractions seem to just be a bother not "true" labor so you will prob see me around still- walking...waiting....walking...... lol Please say a prayer that I will fully let my body do what it needs to do and not let all the other things in ( kids, laundry, meals......you all know what I mean... life-lol!) so Briggs may not make it his debut till this weekend or he may make it tonight who knows, but I am very excited to find out!! :) Now off to pass the time.....

Happy Birthday Jaxs- you are so funny, sooo oboy, and so vital to out family ( who would remind us of all the rules at every second of the day - or that your younger brother is calling you stinky pants, or that your sisters are not pushiong YOU on the swing....... and my favorite thing you remind me of everyday?- that ypou love me just toooo tooo much!!! love it!)

Taking after Momma!

Look at these pics Kayla took- I was sooo impressed- not really LOVING that I am sharing my big-no make-up-nor shower- just woke up-self with all but hey keeping it real... heres the story--- I was taking a shot ( the one with me and mirror...) since I AM 39 weeks and Kayla came up and ask if she could take some pics... then Em came up... then Jaxs... then can u guess??... Cashman-- the ONE time all my kids look so darn cute for the camera and I sooo did not and they all loved our photo session-- may have to try this again except hopefully next time I will have a baby to add to shot ( and WILL take a shower--- hopefully...)lol!!!! Ok going to lay down again-- have NOT been feeling so great today.... noooo not because of baby... haven't felt so great all night and day- a cold or something! no fun...... have a great weekend!

Way cool!

Well to me!!! lol

Last Friday my mom took the kids to our new favorite place! The Nature Museum- the kids would stay all day if I let them:) Anyway I got to go get a massage from my favorite lady, Claire, since my legs have really been buggin me lately... mmmm wonder why?? lol anyway while the kids were at the NM this lady was taking pics and my mom saw a butterfly land on Cash's head and asked the lately ( or screamed QUICKKKKKK....!!lol) to take a pic- this is what she sent us - I think it turned out super cute and Cash even looked at camera not all over the place!

*12 days to go officially though nothing much is happening.... my body is feeling really tired all the sudden - this weekend no bibs were made, nothing washed nor cleaned I just slept when I could get it in between bday parties,church, other planned activities( one of them being 1.00 subs at Jimmie John's!! lol) and Jeremy and me took kids to see the movie EARTH for end of school since this year was focused on Gods creatures - 3 more days officially left for Gettin Schooled until our summer break- testing is done, books are almost filled up:) though I have a lot of educational ( shhh telling the kids F U N!) things in store for the summer..... until next time:) see ya

Pickin time:)

I LOVE this time of year- gardens are a growin and fresh fruit is ready to pick! We usually go to the park every other Fri but this Friday I wanted to get our annual strawberry picking place a visit since my days are numbered as when I will be able to get up and go.... We went to Hall Family farm and LOVED it- they not only have the best, no chemical strawberries but had a sale through today only 1.00 a lb!! YES! The McG's came along- my group shot not so great Jules maybe you got a better one? With so many it IS kinda hard to do that though, huh?! lol ( tried to see if anyone else was game but nooooo lol- just kidding I did only let you guys know about a day before!) so we picked, we had yummy strwberry slushies then after pickin' we saw Mrs. Lisa my midwife- All was great... Briggs is about 7 lbs now and fully DOWN in the O so lovely birth canal! I do not want to get checked until I am for sure feeling some changes going on ( I know I am so weird now- with all the others I would be saying please check me! :) ..) while I have for sure been having lots more cramping nothing more and like I said feeling good:)

Now what do you do when your crazy mommy lets you ( makes you?? lol) pick 3 buckets (3.75 quarts each) of strawberries??? Why you make jam and fruit leather! Jaxson is my kitchen helper lately and both of us where covered in strawberry juice when the day was done but we are fully enjoying the fruits of our labor! :) HAPPY MOTHERS DAY:) xoxo

bibs and new name... for blog!

Here is some of the bibs I have been working on.... my fav is prob the the gray/blue with the donut and popsicle and these iron-on that I made for the baby onesies were sooo easy!!! The two elephants are for a friend who will be having twins in June ( hope she doesn't check this before her shower Sat! lol) and the strawberry one- well I just couldn't resist even if for a girl- I am sure someone round here ( not in this house...) will be prego soon enough with a girl! :)

So I think I came up with a new name-- do you like???? Are We Done Yet? kinda is a joke as almost everyone I meet asks me this-- never ask a 9month pregnant lady this btw- of course she is going to say YES we are done!!! It also has a special meaning to me... Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine having 5 children or even homeschooling them! I feel like God is always molding me, making me and quite often I have asked Him "Are you done yet, Lord?" His answer so far is "No, not yet" and I think I kinda like that :).......... or maybe this should be called "Can I handle this?" LOL!! just kidding He has brought me this far and through MUCH more, so yes I can handle this just may need a little love the first couple months and reassurance from my friends, k??:)

AND here's a little fact: this has officially been the longest I have been preggers- I am a little over 37 weeks almost 38 and ALL, except Kayla ( well, she did last till her actual dd but that was long ago! lol ) have been born at 36/beginning of 37 weeks.... but I truly am gratful to not have any complications this far no pre-term labor feeling pretty good- ready.... but good and I still have one more room in the house to finish and a few more sewing projects to get done so he's good inside for now- Ill let you know my feelings though on that.... Ooooo in about 3 weeks!! :)
