Are We Done Yet?

Briggs is 1 MONTH OLD!!! Today 4 weeks ago he arrived on his own time and what an awesome day that was! Now off to cry as my baby is getting to old ( LOL)!!

I am not sure how big he is but getting chubby for sure- he has grown out of his NB cloth diapers ( a whole other post-- but LOVING them!!) so I am thinking around 10 lbs or so- tomorrow we go see the doc:)..... I know so many of my posts are of him but I can't help it! Babies are the best and this is something I can honestly say I have never thought or felt before (shhh don't tell the other kiddos I got!) -- I have been telling everyone how great he is - such a sweet lil guy and how he might look just like his biggest bro Jaxs but acts WAY different - this part is tru not to knock Jaxs as baby, we did have a lot going on at the time of his birth, but I am beginning to think it may just have been me back then. Having 5 has truly changed me ( yeah I bet u say- UR CRAZY!!lol) no really, I never thought I would ever have this many children or could handle it-- some days it is crazy and I have help two days a week from 10-2pm through July so I may just be in la la land but I don't not want to miss one thing- Yes I wear him constantly ( have 3 fav slings now and luv those too!) and hold him, nurse him whenever he wants and after his first nighttime feeding he usually sneaks in bed with us..... and I LOVE it thank u very much! O yeah-- I am also LATE LATE LATE ( more than usual ) and hopefully all will understand.... There is so much that is different this go around but a beautiful different and as always God new exactly what He was doing ( I may just get this one day ya think?! *wink!):) xo

ps- Yes.....I do think babies smile already at 4 weeks- and not just while sleeping-- I have proof!! lol

Have u ever tried TRU homemade popcorn?? Well my friend Carrie has a old popcorn maker and we tried it out- kettle corn fresh hot sweet with a lil salt--- WAYYYYyyy better than the micro kind:) We had one day ( or a few days..lol) when the weather was a lil lousy and got some great books from the library to read while eating-- what a day!! Thanks Carrie for letting us borrow- I guess I will bring it back this week ! lol If anyone sees a popcorn maker like this-- let me know! ( Jenny- u garage sale queen b on the look out!!)
