Pres. Hinkley

Today I took the kids up to Salt Lake. We parked and rode Trax downtown (Toren was in heaven riding on a train). Before leaving this morning, everything that almost could go wrong did, and I really questioned whether we should go or not. Whether it was worth dragging all the kids up there (in church clothes) in the cold. We went to the viewing of Pres. Hinkley. As we went through the line with my husband and children, the spirit was there so strong testifying that this man truly was a prophet of God, I knew it was definetely worth it! I am so glad we could do this. Every chance our children have to feel the spirit and recognize it, helps their small testimonies grow. I am grateful for such a strong Hero in my life.

December- Month at a Glance

December was a fun, yet crazy month. We of course had lots of parties. We decorated Gingerbread Houses a couple different times. We were able to take Camron,Taylor, and Jayde to "Saviour of the World". It was incredible. Another highlight was having Brandon and Camron home for Christmas. Brandon is living in Logan and Camron is in Montana. The biggest hit of the Christmas presents was the Guitar Hero. We spent lots of time playing it, as you can see in the pictures. Even Dallan & I like to play it with the kids. Toren's birthday was Dec. 27th and he turned 2. We celebrated it up in Idaho with the Walkers. He had a "Happy Feet" cake. Which is his favorite show at the time. We also celebrated Camron's birthday which was January 9th, before he left to go back to Montana. We went to Idaho after Christmas and went to the cabin. The kids loved sledding, going around in the snowcat. We had a great holiday and loved being around family and friends. P.S. Click on the photo to see it bigger.

Corn Belly's

We went with some of our neighbors from Riverton to Corn Belly's at Thanksgiving Point. It was a blast!! There was so much for the kids to do. If you haven't gone before, it is well worth the money.

I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Recap of Fall 2007

I decided that I would kind of give a recap of what has been going on the last few months. Especially because now in January things have slowed down. I picked a good and bad time to start a blog! Good because I have more time because things have slowed down, I might can actually do this!! Bad because things have slowed down and I have nothing to talk about. So I will be doing quite a few slide shows to help show what we have been doing. We went for a family home evening with my family to the pumpkin patch and the kids picked out their own pumpkins and then Grandma and Grandpa bought them. We then had fun carving our pumkins with 2 of Dallan's sisters at our house. As you can see, we love being by family to get together often.
