Matt+Anne

Unfortunately the recent busyness of life has caused the frequency of blog posts to take a major hit. There is much to catch up on, but first I want to share some photos from last weekend's whirlwind trip home for Matt & Anne's wedding.
Everyone hopes for someone fabulous for their siblings, as the spouse of your sibling becomes a sibling themselves. I think it's safe to say I hit the jackpot on this one.
We've loved Anne since day 1, and are so thankful she is officially a part of the family now!
My parents did a fabulous job with the rehearsal dinner - mom's decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious, and Matt & Anne's friends shared a series of classy and hilarious toasts. Their wedding party was a fun mix of childhood, college, and family, and were a blast!
Doesn't my mom look beautiful? (Brother, you looked handsome too!)
Below are my adorable cousins Austin and John William. Austin (left) is teaching Walker how to play "Simple Physics" on his iPad. My how technology has changed...
Anne and her parents planned a beautiful ceremony and a fabulous reception. I've never seen my brother so happy or smile so much!
Conveniently, the wedding was a Fain family affair as well, and it was a blast seeing the Fain sibs + spouses + nieces + Sissy & Judge.
Overlooking our former home city...
Below are my mom, her sister, and my cousin Cate (2 months my elder) - think we are all related?
Sunday brought a fun reunion at Jackson's with best friends in Birmingham, and with that we headed to the airport and back to Cincy tired and happy. I have now officially retired as a third-trimester bridesmaid and am counting the days until the ever-growing Griffin decides to make his appearance...
