Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, by Stephanie Meyer

What a Happy Reunion it Must have Been!

President Gordon B. Hinckley and his wife Marjorie are a great example to us all of what an ideal marriage can be. Here is a quote from President Hinckley about his wife he gave in General Conf. in October: "I think of my own marriage. My eternal companion passed away three and a half years ago. But we lived together for 67 years. I have no recollection of ever having a quarrel with her. She traveled with me and spoke on every continent, pleading for the exercise of restraint, kindness, and love."

We Love President Hinckley

Our family is very grateful to have had the opportunity to live during the time President Hinckley was the president and prophet of our church. He has been a wonderful example to all of us.

Well, we're glad Cade is healthy

We woke up this morning to some SICK kids! Cassidy and Luke were in pretty bad shape. So, I carted everyone down to the doc's office and came out with all kind of diagnoses. Luke was running a 102 fever and seems to have a viral infection, which includes a rash, as well as ear infections in both ears! In fact the ear infections were so bad, the doc wants us to come back in 2 weeks from now to have them checked! I had Luke in the doc's last week, due to major crankiness and a long lasting cold. The doc seemed to think nothing was wrong with him. I can't believe they missed this! I'm not seeing that doc again. I'm glad we had a more competent one today! Cassidy came out of there with some eye drops for Pink Eye (yet again- we've had quite the experience with this over the past year) and a refill for the rest of the family. So, we're loaded up with the antibiotics and ready to roll! I guess the one good thing is, at least we're all sick at the same time! Normally it seems we have it go around the family in shifts for a month!

Happy Birthday, Warren!

We had a fun time tonight celebrating Warren's 31st birthday. His parents came over and had dinner and dessert. The kids' favorite gift Warren got was a miniature air hockey table from Grandpa and Grandma Hess. The tears were flowing at bedtime!

Poor Yoda

We got Yoda a new dog bed, but the poor guy never gets to sit in it. The second he sits in it Luke starts to scream and cry. Luke then pushes Yoda out and gets in it himself. Luke wants nothing to do with it unless Yoda is around. I guess we know who the Alpha Dog is in that relationship!

Pugs Gear Models

The kids love it when Warren has to go through and sort his returns for work. They tried on about every hat in the box. These were their favorites!

Cade's find

Cade helped me do laundry this week and found Warren's jock strap of all things. He insisted on putting it on. He pulled it up and exclaims, "Daddy, this is too SMALL for me!"

Cade's Guys

Daily ritual. He lines everybody up, Star Wars, Spiderman, Dinosaurs, Transformers and sometimes Book of Mormon Warriors. Full scale war. It is a crack up to see the good guy bad guy teams. Luke's favorite thing is to start throwing all the action figures back in the box just as Cade is setting up! It's pretty entertaining to watch!

Singing in the Rain

Christmas break has been filled with fun- including splashing in mud puddles in the backyard. We'll be sad when Cass has to go back to school tomorrow!

Best Present of All

I didn't have the heart to get mad at the boys when they snaked the last of my wrapping paper and starting wrapping THEMSELVES in it! They quickly got Cassidy in on the fun, too!

Merry Christmas

Santa came to see us at Mimi and Pops' house this year. The kids had a really fun time!

A fun Christmas in Reno

Luke enjoyed vacuuming with Heidi- his favorite thing to do, wherever he is! We got to see Auntie Dee in Auburn on our way to Reno for Christmas. Cade enjoyed doing puzzles with her. He also enjoyed all the attention from his Aunts while at Mimi's house. Pops' stove got a little smokey downstairs so we had to do some serious bundling up with the doors and windows open!
