How to Train Your Dragon

I couldn't resist these dragon jammies for the kids at Walmart. Luke is HUGE into dress ups, so I thought he would be the only one that really cared, but these boys have been so into it! What a great marketing ploy for the movie, "How to train your Dragon." Now my kids are all pumped up to go see it. I'm not sure when we'll get there, hopefully before it comes out on DVD.

Cade tried to convince me his was a "very nice outfit" and extremely suitable for picture day tomorrow. LOL! :) Nice try.

As I was typing this, I could hear one of my little dragons howling and growling from the bedroom. I went back to see what was wrong, and my little Luke dragon was in tears that his dragon cape had fallen off. Now that the cape is securely attached, by the very small velcrow patches, hopefully he can get some sleep! :)

Cass told me she wants a dragon jammie/costume after watching the boys have so much fun. Who would have guessed?! I guess it's back to Walmart for one more. I noticed there was a blue dragon in size 8...

Pudding Painting at Preschool

This activity was a hit with all the kids! They really got into it. Tasty, messy, slimey, what's not to like?

One last chance to play in the snow

Finally happy in the snow! Usually it brings on a lot of tears for Jake! It must be the new croc boots!

Snow fort or snow "dog house" Warren made for the kids and Yoda

Lookin' spiffy

I love seeing the kids dressed up on Sundays. They all look so cute!

More Snow? In late March? In TX?!!

Yoda took quite the liking to the snow this time. He'd always been afraid of it in the past. This time he would run out there, dive in, cover himself and start eating it. So fun to watch!

It's been a record year for snow here. Usually it only snows once a winter. Last year we didn't see any. This year it's snowed at least 4 times! We got the largest hit of the metroplex this time.

Spring Break Day #5

A visit to the Meldrums!! It's so fun that we live close enough to see each other on these great school breaks! We had such a nice time catching up and enjoying a picnic at their park.

Spring Break Day #4

More piano lessons, more friends, more park. Plus a trip to Sprouts- the kids loved picking out their own snacks and produce. We even made it to the bank and the carwarsh. Poor Jake is terrified of the carwash. I now know what he dreams about when he is having nightmares. But, the car is clean, so I am happy!

Spring Break Day #3

yummy chicken nuggets!
Happy St. Patty's Day!
The New Chick-Fil-A is open!!! YAY! We are so spoiled to live close to so many fun places. We were excited to go hang out with our buddies at the playplace today. We love Chick Fil A for their great food and fabulous service. Plus, what a great company to be closed on Sundays! Unheard of now days. Afterwards we went to the library, then had nap time, then more playtime with friends. It's been a great week so far!

Spring Break Day #2

More piano lessons, more friends, a freezing birthday party at the park (we felt so sad for our host, the weather was supposed to be beautiful!), and popcorn and a movie at home on the couch to warm up!

Spring Break Day #1

Jake loves McFlurries!

Star Wars Happy Meal Toys
Fun friends!
The Rocketship Park!

We started out at the rocketship park. We also went to McDonalds for lunch, another park after naps and I taught some piano lessons.
