Abe-y Baby turned 2!! I cannot believe it. Abram has been so fun to have in our family. He is such a tough little guy. He is special to me because he let me know before he was born, just what we were in for. I knew what he would look like, his personality and everything except just how much I was going to LOVE him!! He knocked his tooth out the week of his 1st birthday...need I say more. No, but I will. When he was first born I told Jed that Abram's little spirit intimidated me--like he was an older soul than I and he had much to teach me. He definitely has. I can only pray that he will be kept safe in this life, cause he is spontaneous and fearless!! He is very capable of achieving what he has willed himself to do, he will do the unthinkable!!!
Papa asked Ez while we were visiting one time, "What does your mom call you?" Ez says, "Sugar." Papa asks, "What does she call Abram?" Ez says without hesitation, "Stinker."
Right now he is especially fun because he has his own language. We are working with his vocabulary, but he is quite content with what he has found to work for him.
Some of his favorite words are: Uh-oh (uses A LOT)...up-up, eeeeww, mama-dadda, dadda-mama, CHOO-CHOO (definitely his favorite), Nah-nah (banana), Na-Na (Batman, can be confused with banana), night-night moon, hop hop (any animal that bounces), hup (help), No, My (mine), Me, the letter "B", ANT (we had an ant problem this summer), JoJo (Aunt Joey), Hi-yo (hello), Are you (where are you), mama (grandma), papa (grandpa), duh-du mama (love you mama), daydo (thank you), stop!, bok-bok (chickens), moo(move or cow), along with making all kinds of sound effects to what he is doing or playing. He also signs a few words which is very helpful. He loves Ezra and mimicks everything Ez does. One day he had me put Ezra's preschool shirt on him, he then grabbed Ez's preschool bag walked outside and while we were watching him he headed towards the sidewalk to cross the street. I hurried and grabbed him, but it broke my heart to see that he was going to head across the street where Ez gets picked up for preschool carpool...so very sad. I know that day will come too soon though so I soak up every minute I have him home with me.
He is such a blessing to us and we love him soooo much!!
