Snow is pretty

For the first day.

Ah well.  These littles had fun in it this morning.

Additionally?  Putting on gloves is a beating.  Why is it so hard for small people to figure out which finger goes in which slot???

My mom called to ask if I was pregnant.

And why?  Because I haven't blogged in awhile.  Yikes.  I realized that I am at the stage where any detour from my normal behavior could be perceived as early pregnancy.  So I'd better blog.  (By the way, when she asked that question, I answered, "Not to my knowledge."  I know you were wondering.)

Trouble is, I don't have earth shattering stuff to say.  So I'll just say a lot of random stuff so my mom won't suspect me of morning-sickness-induced-blog-absence.

One thing I wanted to say happened on Christmas day and I didn't include it on that post, but I've been wanting to record it.  So we all know that moms get the least number of presents.  It's okay.  We don't mind, it just is what it is.  We buy everyone the gifts, we receive the fewest.  It comes with the territory.  So.  My pile was dwindling, while others still had many.  Cody noticed.  This in and of itself is amazing, don't you think?  I mean, for a 5 year old to notice anyone else on Christmas, while he had a giant pile of presents in front of him, I think that's astonishing.  But then, even better, he ran over to the table and started coloring pictures and rolling them up for me to open.  He noticed the uneven present distribution, then ran over and did something about it.  I was so touched.  Isn't that so sweet?  I thought it was darling.

And then since we're talking about Christmas, Ryan did SUCH a smart thing this Christmas.  SO smart.  To figure out what to buy me, he logged on to my Pinterest account and my Etsy account.  He spied out my favorites and got them!  In addition, he asked a good friend what she thought he should get me.  All of this under the radar.  I thought this was genius.  He got me this sign and this pillow.  This pillow for which I have pined.  It now sits all plump and happy in my craft room.

Also, since we're talking about Pinterest, do you pin stuff?  I do.  If you want to see the stuff I pin, go here.  And if you want me to see the stuff you pin, leave your user name in the comments.  I love pinning stuff.  And it turns out that once my husband saw the fun I was having, he wanted to have some funsies for himself.  So my husband also has a Pinterest account, which I find very funny because he often tells me about something he's seen pinned on there.  It's slightly unnerving when he references something like "Tatum Channing" and acts like I'm an idiot because I don't know who he is.  I'm like, "How do YOU know who he is?"  and he answers "Pinterest."  Wow.

I could tell you Leah's knock knock joke...

Knock, knock.

Who's there?

I'll punch you in the teeth!

She's a delicate little creature...

Well, okay.  There you go.  I have no morning sickness excuse for not writing.  Now you see it's because I don't have much of great interest to say!
