Oh how we love Oregon

Oregon calls to us and we chase the sunset west.

Pip's Doughnuts-hot and tiny and delicious.  Honey Sea Salt Forever!

It's all fun and games until someone steps in a little water at the beach and then hates everything about the beach.

Hello, sun.

Boys with buckets at the beach.  I ADORE THIS ALL SO HARD.

And you know how I feel about these twin brother boys.  All the heart eyes.

I really don't have enough pictures like this in our family's cannon.  The look on Leah's face makes me want to take a million more!

After our first day at the beach, we took baths, read books, did puzzles, and ate cake (by the ocean.)  It was perfectly cozy and gave me all the good family vibes.

The sunset view from our house.  I mean, seriously??!  Can this be real??

Equally beautiful on a misty morning.  I mean, can you see this and not feel your heart leap in your chest?  I just LOOOOOOOOOVE this!

Family fun day in Newport.  #whateveraboutspen

We went to those silly tourist trap Undersea Gardens/Ripley's Believe it or Not and the Wax Museum.  And we had a silly good time!

We wore one curly haired baby out, though.  This picture is actually too precious.

We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and made the NEVER REGRETTED FOR ONE SECOND decision to rent one of their fancy, big double stroller things.

 Shark Tunnel!

Look at all these beautiful children.  I actually received a compliment about how well behaved they are right after we took this picture.  Which is probably why this picture is being included in this post.

We went to check out Devil's Punchbowl, which is really spectacular!

I mean, the whole Oregon Coast is spectacular.  Don't you just look at that mist and want to cry because you love it all so much?  I DO!

My Best Guy Forever.  I am just so happy when we get to be together.

Look at this cool rock and the cutie girl in front of it!

SEAL PUP at the beach.  MAGICAL.

*Winner for my favorite picture of the whole trip.

We went to visit the old and the new Yaquina Bay light houses and both were really cool!

The sound of cobbles! from Bethany Weed on Vimeo.

We hiked down to Cobble Beach, which is SO COMPLETELY COOL.  The sound of the waves lapping over the cobbles is mesmerizing.

These two.  They fight and jockey for position and make each other laugh and totally need each other.  I get asked if they're twins.  Cody is not impressed.

Always building.

Undisputed fact: naps on the beach are the actual best.

Before we left on Monday morning, we went to the Hatfield Marine Science Center and LOVED it.  Something for everyone!

And on our way home, we stopped to see my dear old friend Heidi and her little family.  She has two LITTLE TINY guys, and her little baby Deborah is a few weeks younger than Grace.  Cuties.

UGH, it was just SUCH A GREAT TIME.  Secretly, I'm already planning our next trip back!

MCO Concert

For the last year, Leah participated in Millenial Choirs and Orchestras, which has been a great experience.  She loves singing and they get right to it.  They have super high expectations of the kids, and I think the kids really rise to meet those!

I don't have many great pictures, because I volunteered to help behind the scenes, so I was back in the back of the Morrison Center trying to keep 200 kids calm and contained for HOURS while they rehearsed, and get them to where they needed to be on their cue for the performance.  So I really only have these two pictures, but I wanted to document that she did it and she was so good at it!  She is a great little singer, and now she can say that she performed in the Morrison Center, which is a pretty big deal!

Mother's Day 2017

Mother's Day with all my kiddles.

My view from the chair while I snuggled the littles.  It's so much more fun to be a mom when you don't have to do the WORK of being a mom.

Everyone was super nice to me, the food was delicious, my kids are beautiful and sweet and sometimes it's really great to be a mom.
