How to dry off after a shower...

This is how it's done; just jump on your Indian and take it for a ride. You'll be dry in no time.

Seriously, they don't call them 'Wild Hogs' for nothing!

Sincerely yours,
The (Bare) End.

Two thumbs up

We took the opportunity having family in town to go see a movie Christmas night. As you can see, we liked it! I hope they make a sequel!Photobucket

Santa has good taste!

Doesn't she look good in red and black? She can pretty much pull off any color really well.

Jessica, do you recognize the bow? It goes together perfectly like it was made for this outfit!

Here's a better picture of it!

I think she feels as adorable as she looks. :-)

Modeling

Here's Troy's sister Rachel showing off her new outfit I got for her. This is the overcoat.

And here is the dress. Isn't that a pretty color on her?

The Grand Finale

This was Peyton's big present from his Mimzy and Sir Grandpa!

They got him an Indian motorcycle which was the kind of motorcycle Peyton's Great Grandfather used to race.

He LOVES it. It's all we can do to get him OFF of it! :-)

In the video, you'll see me following Peyton with our laptop. On Skype was my Mom and Dad so they could watch Peyton get his big surprise on the web cam.

In seconds, he had figured out how to work it himself which if you listen very closely, you'll hear Troy say at the very end; "He already knows how to work it!"

Thanks Mimzy and Sir Grandpa, we love it!

Spoiled!

If I were to take a picture of every present these kids got, it would take up the whole page! Here are some highlights:

Peyton was showered with books and puzzles. I am so glad too, because he really needed some new books to add to his collection!

Chloe received outfits and fun toys. Here she is getting a glow seahorse (kinda like the glow worm) from Mom and Dad.

Linda (Troy's Mom) got pictures from the kids.

You can barely make them out, but these are plaques that I made myself. They have decorative paper modpodged behind the pictures and they are accented with ribbon.

She also got a large framed picture of the kids.

Rachel got a new dress and an overcoat.

Naoko was excited about her new griddle, pancake mix, hot cocoa mix and all the stuff needed to cook them up; spatula, measuring cups, wisk, etc.

I got some awesome p.j.'s, a few movies (The Holiday and the newest Harry Potter addition) a gift card to Barnes and Noble and one for Amazon for my Kindle (thanks Troy!) and some much needed new knives!

Jason loved his new zip up hoodie from Laura.

Chloe got an awesome bear from her Mimzy and Sir Grandpa in Indonesia. This soft plush bear sings songs, reads stories and plays games and it's all directed by Chloe! She pushes its paws or feet to tell it what she wants to do next and then away it goes!

She loves it! We played one song where the bear sings 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' in English then does it in Japanese and also an African version too!

They also sent her this Twilight Turtle which is really neat. It projects stars all over her room at night so that it's not so dark in her room. It changes colors too. I know we'll be using this one every evening!

Troy got some new shoes, some LSU shirts, a Saints shirt, a Superman cell phone cover and some treats. He also got a very generous gift from my Mom and Dad of a gift card to Jos. A. Banks so he could buy some new shoes and work attire.

Peyton got an Elmo Live from Troy and I that sings and tells jokes and stories. It was a huge hit; in fact I hear Elmo talking in the background right now! :-)

"I wuv you Elmo." Peyton said after he opened it. He even gave Elmo a hug!

Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah...

♪ Someone's in the kitchen I know. Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah, strummin' on the old banjo. ♪

Ok, not really. :-) I don't even know a Dinah!

But Troy was in the kitchen making sausage links and eggs to go with the homemade 'Clone of a Cinnabon' rolls that I prepped for Christmas morning the night before.

Thanks for helping Troy!

Now let's eat! :-)

P.S. Breakfast was FANTASTIC.

Naughty or Nice?

What's in those stockings?

Some books, M&M's, gold chocolate coins, a Mickey Mouse Pez Dispenser and an electric Tigger toothbrush for Peyton.

Some mirror flash cards, a new outfit, pony tail holders and plastic cars keys that honk and jingle for Chloe.

Looks like the kids were good this year; no coal!

Mmmm, there's nothing like the delicious taste of keys Christmas morning! :-)

Santa brought us snow for Christmas Eve!

I looked out the window and what did I see?

Snowflakes falling down onto all the trees!

Santa has brought me such a nice surprise;

Snowflakes forming right before my eyes!

We had a white Christmas! Hope you had a Merry one too! :-)
