Jazz Game and the Sinks

Derick’s choir group had the privilege of singing the National Anthem at the Jazz vs. Suns game. What a neat experience for them. Plus it was a great game to watch.

The “Sinks” is a body of water near Leamington. We drove out there the other day to see how much water is there. Plus Derick is scoping it out for a date.

Austin’s Baptism

We got to go down to Las Vegas over Easter weekend to see Austin become the newest member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints.

We love track season! The weather is warmer and we get to spend time outdoors. Derick is throwing the shotput, and his favorite, the Discus. He has been throwing around 130 during practices. He tends to get really nervous during meet though which can be super frustrating to him. Just one of those things that he has to figure out. He did take first this past week at the Millard Invitational.

Tyler's First Soccer Game EVER!

Tyler decided that he wanted to try soccer this year. So this is his first game. He did a great time for the first time I thought. I was a little worried because when I watched him at practice, he kept catching the ball. By the end of the game his knees were super sore but I think that will get better with time. There are only two teams so they will be playing the same team all season. It will be interesting to see how they improve with each game as they learn how the other team plays. His team consists of both girls and boys that he goes to school with. I'm excited to see more games.
