A while before Derick’s Birthday, he and I were talking and he was telling me how birthdays are, “Just another day, and not very fun anymore.”  Well I was up for the challenge of Derick having a birthday to remember.  So I messaged one of Derick’s good friends, Brooke, and asked her if she would get me a list of people who Derick would want at his party.  So I invited them all through Facebook privately so that Derick  wouldn’t see.  There were a few hiccups along the way because of play practice and a concert that most of them were in that night.  But we were able to get him to the party without him even having a clue.  Thank goodness that he had practice all the time for the play.  I was able to make vinyl mustache’s,  cupcakes, a photo booth and props and a Mustache guessing game all without him knowing what I was doing.
