Pirates of Penzance

Derick directed the childrens theater again this year in hopes to earn some money for his mission.  They did the musical, "Pirates of Penzance".  These kids were amazing and put on an awesome performance.

Kaitlin did a super job as one of the cops, which happened to be the part that Derick was when he performed this play years ago.  Kaitlin made a great cop.

Kirk and I went to a 38 Special Concert at the state fair.  Super fun, brought back memories of what we used to listen to all the time.

We went to Bear Lake with my whole family.  Here is just one layout that I have done with Derick and Brooke.

Derick and I went up to the Mt. Timpanogas temple to take some missionary pictures.

We went and had Family pictures taken before Derick left on his mission.

Derick and Brooke made us dinner one night.  Menu:  Meatloaf, baked potatoes, broccoli and cheese, AND for dessert they made these yummy cream cheese raspberry filled wantons.  Everything was Delish.

My first time "Ice Blocking"  so much fun.  I'm glad that Derick and his friends talked me into trying it!!

Soooo BEHIND!

I am so behind in my scrapbooking, therefore I am also behind in my Blogging.  I need to stop that.  I have layouts done but haven't finished everything in the event so I end up not blogging about it.  So I decided that I would just post what I do have done instead of waiting till they are all done.
Here are some layouts from Fiddler on the Roof.  I miss that play so much.  I would be happy to go see it performed again every month.

So for Easter, Saturday, instead of decorating eggs, we decided to buy a bunch of eggs and take them to the  "Bridge" and have some fun.  We threw them at the bridge, we tried hitting them with a sling shot off the bridge, we threw them in the river and into the cliff on the other side of the river AND we shot them with a 22.  So much fun!!!

Derick's Graduation announcement.

Can't believe that Derick Graduated!!!!   Am I that old?  I guess I am because it really did happen.  He has such wonderful friends and has made some amazing memories.  He wasn't very excited about graduating.  He's worried that all the fun will stop now that he is finished.  We keep telling him that life just gets better.  So proud of him and all of his accomplishments.
Kirk and I took Derick to San Fransisco/ Sacramento for senior trip.
