Bounce U with GG!

Some of these pictures are blurry, I know, but it's the best I got. While Wes had the week off, his mom was here also! The kids got to spend some good time with GG. Wed. night we went to Bounce U, and Aidan and Westin especially had a great time. It was so fun just to watch them going crazy! I have no idea why my text is getting underlined.

Monterey Bay

Wes took some vacation from his old job this week, so on Tuesday we went to Monterey. The weather was overcast and 60's, but we saw the sun here and there and Westin and Jade had a great time. We walked Cannery Row, went to the beach, and let them play in the Dennis the Menace Play Ground (no pictures of it, but it is HUGE).

Westin loved running around the beach and playing in the water. It was entertainment just watching him.

Jade had a good time too, but only let the water touch her feet a few times.

Whenever she hears or sees a plane in the sky she points and says, "Pane!" Westin used to do the same thing. It's always a good reminder that they notice just about everything.

Our 4th of July!

It was a hot one. Kierstin did an awesome job on her 5k
she ran in the morning. It started at 9am and it was already 85
degrees outside. She came in 4th out of all the women!

Later we went to the pool and splashed around and had
some of our friends over for a BBQ. We then piled into the van
and went to the local park in our little town and watched the
firework show.

Jade loved the firework, well mostly just walking around saying "Hi"
to anyone and everyone.

Westin was great too. He likes the red and green ones.

All in all, I'd have to say it was one of the better 4th of July's
we've had. What a blessed country we live in with all the freedoms
we have. God bless America!

Brother and Sister-two peas in a pod!

Westin and Jade have been getting along together really
well lately. Although they do still have their moments,
It's definitely clear that they love each other and being
around each other.

The other day our neighbor gave Westin a Buzz Lightyear
umbrella, and guess what it did the next day it rained like crazy.
Which is really weird for us in late June in California, but he
got to put his new umbrella to the test. Happiest boy ever!

They love chasing each other around.

Jade's favorite thing to do in the world is swing. We can not
walk by a swing without taking a few moments to swing.
I guess that's what we get for sleeping her in a swing
for the 1st 5 months of her life. Its just natural to her.
