Depoe Bay, OR

This year the Kanooth family reunited in central Oregon, in Depoe Bay. Dad and Mom make it so easy for all the siblings and their families to get together and enjoy the WA or OR coasts, like we did pretty much every year when we were little. Unfortunately Leif and Rachel, and the twins couldn't make it from Florida, as Leif just started residency. Lairen couldn't make it either since she is doing lots of traveling this year and decided to save her PTO for Hawaii in a few weeks. She got to see us all before we left to Depoe Bay anyway, because we drove up to WA, spent a couple days in WA, then all drove out to the coast. The beach was beautiful and it was great being able to be with family that we don't see often. Thanks Dad and Mom!!!

Some of the girls-Audrey, Sydney, Tori, Reese

(visibly upset), Lauren, Jade (wondering why Reese is so mad),

and Rachael.

Jade and Reese. Reese upset, because I think Jade tried to touch her. Jade wondering what she did. Jade and Reese are just a month apart. The boy cousins, except Micah.
Westin loves to play with Steven and get so excited when he is around him...sometimes too excited, and gets a little wild. He was always asking, "Where my cousins, where my friends?"
We got to spend Steven's birthday with him. He turned 6! Westin and Uncle Aaron. Westin and Ally. Westin had so much fun getting lots of attention from his older cousins.

Jade and Lauren are exactly 10 years apart, so we like to get pictures of the two Valentine girls together.

Aaron and Katie and some of the girls. This was a beach north of DB. It was a really cool beach,

pretty unique. The sand was live river sand, and the coast

line was a giant slab of rock that'd been worn away by the waves.

At first I thought the exfoliation would be great on our feet,

and it was...at first, then became painful for me.

I had to put my flip flops back on.

Love the Ocean.

This was the coastline...not your typical sand.

Aaron and Katie.

Thomas and Westin.

Westin always in his shorts and enjoying the new adventure.

Westin always observing and not at all interested in having his picture taken.

Wes and Aaron.

Our little family.

The following pictures are from our second day at the beach and the weather was perfect! We were in this little cove, so it was just us and another little family. It was such a fun day...no wind, warm enough, just really pleasant.I know there are a lot of these pictures of Wes and Jade, but I liked them all so much that I couldn't put just one.

Jeremy and Andrea, Becky and Steve, Me and Wes, Aaron and Katie...and Jade.

Westin and Daddy.

Jade even played on her own.

Westin actually looking at the camera!
