The Whitelaws

This week, Kellen participated in his first tea party hosted by his sister. Then, on Monday, Daddy had the day off, so we enjoyed a Chinese food lunch and a movie at the theater (Kellen slept through the whole show).
A little late for this twelve week post. On Friday, his actual twelve week day, Mommy was not feeling well and Daddy was out of town. He slept through the night again (11pm to 6 am) in honor of being twelve weeks old. We are hoping he'll make this a habit, but as of now, we still never know what he's going to do.

This week, we celebrated cousin M's 2nd birthday. It was a Tink party. The girls really had fun with their Tink outfits and girly sticker earrings!
Eleven weeks old today! This week, Kellen had his first cold. It was a bad one, but he's still smiling! He was even kind enough to share the cold with his sister. Oh, and how could I forget - Kellen slept through the night (10:30pm to 5:30am) twice this week!!!
Once again, Jenna could not be left out of the pictures. She arranged these blocks and posed like this all by herself! : )

On Tuesday, we had fun with Daddy home for one more snow day! Jenna and Kellen got to share some sister/brother bonding.
He's gotten pretty good at getting his thumb, now! When Jenna got good at it, she soon slept through the night. Here's to hoping . . .

Two months old today! Kellen weighs 11lbs 9.6oz , is 23 in. long, and his head is 15.5 in (Jenna was 13lbs 13oz, 22.5in and had a 14.5in head at the same age). He has lots of smiley talky moments and especially loves to sit in on Daddy's bass practice sessions. He's been trying to find his thumb the past few days and gets really MAD as he just can't quite get it yet. He wakes up about every 3-4 hours at night and can't stand to have a wet diaper.
I'm going to have to give in and retire all the cute newborn size clothes. This picture is the last of them (notice the sleeves are a little short). Two months and graduated into size 0-3 months.
This week, Kellen got his first baking lesson as he watched Jenna and I bake Daddy's favorite cookies for his 36th birthday. And, he got to spend two whole days with Daddy in the middle of the week for "snow" days. These days were actually off for extreme cold. It got down to -15 on Wednesday (it was predicted to be -24)!
