Friday, July 22nd - Papa, Mima, Geremy, Heather, Garrison, Grant, Madilyn, Kevin, Jenna, Kellen, & I drove to Alma, CO. We took 5 cars! (Because Geremy & I needed to come back early, but on different days).
Jenna got right to work taking pictures of the beautiful scenery surrounding us.

Saturday, July 23rd - The kids and Papa built this cool teepee.
In the afternoon, we drove up Mosquito Pass to take a little hike. Kellen fell asleep on the way, so I stayed in the car with him while everyone hiked.
Jenna took this one, too - she's a pretty good little photographer! She took hundreds of pictures on this trip!
After the hike - an all cousin game of Apples to Apples
It was Papa's birthday, so we made a birthday dinner for him. Kellen was so excited to help with dinner! He helped chop peppers and avocado for the salad.
After dinner, Kellen wanted me to go on a walk with him, which turned into a walk/run.
He'd say, "Let's run!" So we'd run. And then, "Let's walk!" So we'd walk.
It was a sweet time
After our walk, he wanted me to try to catch arrows as he shot them. First shot went way up into a tree.
Way up! We had to get Daddy to help.
He tried throwing his baseball glove up at the arrow. But, then the glove got stuck, too!
He got both down and saved the day!
Sunday, July 24th - The kids spent the morning enjoying nature and taking pictures. There were a lot of chipmunks that the kids loved. After lunch, we drove to Breckenridge and spent the afternoon swimming.
Monday, July 25th - We went to South Park City in Fairplay. It's a really neat historic town set up on boardwalks. Jenna took this "Please Watch Your Step" picture and then she set it to be the background on the old iphone we were letting her use for a camera! I love going through her pictures and seeing her perspective!
This train was really fun!
We could climb in it and blow the whistle. We were also able to go in the caboose which was really cool.
Love that boy!
One of our favorite buildings was the school house - complete with school bell to ring. (Geremy headed back home after our tour.)

Tuesday, July 26th - We packed a lunch and headed to Breckenridge again to swim. With a little stop on the way at the continental divide.
And, a stop in Breckenridge to ride the gondola.

Wednesday, July 27th - Kevin went on a morning bike ride around Mosquito Pass.

Then the whole gang (minus Geremy and me) hiked the McCollough Gulch Trail

Thursday, July 28th - Back to Breckenridge for more swimming. Then, Friday, July 29th - Back home. Thankful for a great trip!
