Sunday, September 26th - Church, lunch at Which Wich, travel treats from Rocket Fizz, then on the road in search for beauty!



And, we found it! 24 to Divide, 67 to Cripple Creek, 50 to Penrose, 115 back to 25 and home.

September

Friday, September 3rd - We entered into Labor Day weekend with a pizza night. Kellen got his own pizza - no cheese! And ate it right out of the box!
Jenna's friend William asked Jenna to be his date to the homecoming dance and gave her this chocolate bouquet.
Saturday, September 4th - We went homecoming dress shopping with Jenna's friends Ashleigh, Ali, Brooke, and their Moms. It was so much fun!

Sunday, September 5th - Right as I was headed to bed to work NICU the next day, Jenna came to me saying she was having some bladder infection symptoms. I sent Kevin to the store to get some AZO with instructions to take her to the doctor the next day. Well, the next day was labor day. The only open urgent care was a $200 copay and a 2 hour wait, plus her symptoms had subsided, so they didn't go. By Monday evening, Jenna had fever. I took her in Tuesday morning to make sure about the bladder infection and by then she also had a sore throat. No bladder infection, but COVID! We were a bit surprised.

Kevin's schedule this week was a Tuesday night sectional rehearsal and meeting, Wednesday night marching band, Thursday through Friday Mountain lab (overnight), Friday night Football game, and Saturday marching rehearsal 8am - 3p. Well, all of that disappeared and was replaced with 10 days at home and Jenna's vitamin/COVID healing regimen. Thankfully, she only felt pretty bad for 3 days and then kept getting better and better. And, no one else got sick.
Friday, September 10th - Kellen also had to stay home from school for 10 days. One assignment was to classify some of his stuffed animals. He wanted to classify a fungi, so he made Fun Guy Joey the Fungi!

Monday, September 13th - When you're quarantined from school and still feeling great on day 8, you opt for some outdoor learning with Papa and Daddy!

Thursday, September 16th - Grandparents' Day. 5th grade sang America the Beautiful and wrote essays.

Thursday, September 23rd - Field Day!

Saturday, September 25th - We enjoyed a day of watching football with Papa, good food, and relaxing (thanks to TCA's COVID reset). And Jenna enjoyed celebrating Bella's birthday.
