Homecoming

Saturday, September 24th - Jenna had band practice from 8am to noon, then Madilyn came over to help do her hair. So lovely!

Then, we went over to Aubrey's house for Jenna to help her get ready and for me to help Robin get ready for the dinner. William, Jenna's date met us there.

Then, we walked over to the neighborhood fountain for group pictures.

Back to the house for dinner, then off to the dance!

This year, Homecoming week started with the dance because the day after the homecoming football game is the first band competition of the year and if they had had the dance then as usual, the band kids would have missed the dance. Jenna and Aubrey won 3rd place on the Wild West day.

Friday, September 30th - Homecoming game fun!

First performance of the full show in uniform. I went inside to help distribute snacks after half-time and by the time I was done helping, the game was over!! I think the shortest game I've ever attended - started at 7pm, over by 8:45 pm. 56-0 win! Go Titans!

Friday, September 2nd - Second Football game

Also, 8th grade night - It was fun for Jenna and Madilyn to play together

Saturday, September 3rd - First Michigan football game of the season

Wednesday, September 7th - Peach pie!

Saturday, September 10th - Mima took Jenna shopping for shoes for homecoming while I was at work. Cute shoes!

Sunday, September 11th - Kids' bathroom floor done

Thursday, September 15th - Kellen's last Grandparents' Day at school.

Sunday, September 18th - Our first tomato from our garden we planted in June!

Tuesday, September 20th - Kellen finished his map of Middle Earth for the Lord of the Rings game he's been working on creating.

Thursday, September 22nd - Kellen and I went to see his favorite in concert - Jordan Feliz. It was a fun night!

Friday, September 23rd - Homecoming nails

Also, Friday, September 23rd - Supporting the Thunder at the DCC homecoming game.

The kids and I left at halftime to come home and have our annual jack-o-lantern pizza, fall decorating, candy corn eating, and monster mash party. With our busy schedules, it was then or not until mid-November!
