Wednesday, November 1st - It was fun to watch the Texas Rangers win the world series!
Thursday, November 2nd - Third game and third basket for Kellen! So fun to watch!
Saturday, November 4th - I was supposed to work, but got put on standby. It was fun to be able to watch TCA's first playoff game at Basalt on Youtube. TCA won 40-19! Grant with his shaved and bleached hair!
Monday, November 6th - Kellen's last basketball game. It's been fun to watch him play - too bad the season is so short.
Wednesday, November 8th - Academic letter ceremony and traditional lunch at Chick-fil-A after.
And snow!
Thursday, November 9th - Some fun with Papa's new computer monitor! Ha!
Saturday, November 11th - Kellen had a band rehearsal from 9am to 1pm, Jenna had a band gig at 11:30 and pep band at 12:30. Quarterfinals game at 1pm. Kellen and I had previously planned to go to the craft fair before we knew about the game. So, we went to the craft fair for a bit, then the game. It was a gorgeous day and incredible game. Not the way we wanted the season to end, but couldn't be more proud of the team and our favorite, #30 Grant. Our #9 Titans lost to the #1 Delta in the last seconds with a safety. Sad to see Jenna's drum major season end as well.
Sunday, November 19th - We made it to Thanksgiving break!! It was fun to watch Air Force beat Omaha 58-56. And, we caught a free tshirt!
Silliness kicked in and Jenna and Kellen played the screaming into a pillow game.
Monday, November 20th - Jenna and Matthew went on their first date to Panda Express.
Later, Monday, November 20th - We went to Brush Crazy to do some painting. Only Jenna and Kellen ended up working on projects. Mima treated us to Panera for dinner.
Wednesday, November 22nd - We celebrated Thanksgiving early because I had to work Thanksgiving day. It was a gorgeous day! Papa and Jenna started out by climbing to the top of Pulpit Rock. We had our meal at lunch time, then played mini golf, followed by some games at home, and second thanksgiving meal. It was a great day!
Thursday, November 23rd - Thanksgiving Day! I worked in the NICU, the day started off rough, but ended up good. Kevin, Jenna, and Kellen spent the day at Papa and Mima's house again and worked on some Christmas music.
Friday, November 24th - It started snowing on my way home from work Thursday night, and snowed all day Friday, and into Saturday, but didn't really amount to much.
We enjoyed some mid-morning Black Friday shopping with friends.
Saturday, November 25th - We had so much fun watching the Michigan game all together. Grant kept us entertained with his rally dance.
Great game!! Toward the end, Kevin got up to go to the bathroom and we decided to fake cheer for an interception. But, THEN, Michigan really DID get an interception and our crowd went wild! So fun!
Sunday, November 26th - Church, lunch, cleaning the house, and laundry. Then Christmas decorating! We gave the first gift of Christmas - a replacement Grinch movie for the one we left in our old blu ray player when we got a new player last Christmas! Jenna and Kellen made chocolate bears. And we also enjoyed the first batch of chex mix and egg nog. It was a pretty great Thanksgiving break!!
Monday, November 27th - Sadly, back to work and school for everyone. And the first day of the year-long closure of voyager and the new route to school. So far, not as bad as we thought it would be.
Thursday, November 30th - DCC holiday concert. The first of five performances we are attending in the next ten days! It was a good concert and a fun way to start off the Christmas season!
