Jenna 18.0!

Jenna is 18 years old today! So hard to believe! She is 65 and 1/8 inches tall. That's no growth since 15.5. She continued with piano lessons and trumpet lessons this year. She's become quite an accomplished trumpet player. She LOVED being a drum major again and rocked it! She was responsible with juggling it all and continued to make good grades. Senior defense was this year - quite an accomplishment! Favorites continue to be blueberries, Nerds gummy clusters, the color green, and dogs. Muppets Most Wanted and La La Land favorite movies. She's heading to Texas Tech to study music education. She likes to shop at Plato's Closet, paint her fingernails, practice trumpet, and listen to music. Her big family birthday dinner this year is going to be on vacation in Keystone in July - she chose Costco chicken alfredo and blueberry pie. So very proud of you, Jenna!!

On her birthday, Jenna, Kellen, and I went around to get all her free treats, shared lunch at Noodles, and rode the ferris wheel at Scheels. When Kevin got off work, we had dinner at Torchy's and she turned her Nothing Bundt Cake into a smash cake. She had been saying for a few weeks that she really wanted a smash cake for her birthday. Ha!

More Grad Party Fun

Over the next few days, I can't even count how many grad parties we went to or Jenna went to on her own! So much fun celebrating great students and great friends!

Party Time!

Friday, May 23rd - 5:30 pm - Aubrey and Jenna's Party!

We didn't get enough pictures of everyone that was there. So many people we love were there to celebrate!

These two! So much joy!

After it was all cleaned up, it was sweet to reflect on the day and share a LOT of laughs! Graduation at 8:00 am, brunch, home to watch Grant's baseball game for a little bit, recital decorating at 2:30pm, 3:00 pm recital, to Costco for the cake, 5:30 party. One of the very best days, so much joy!! So very blessed to have these friends in our life!

They worked on a script together to start out the recital and introduce each piece. It was EVERYTHING - witty, hilarious, poignant! Love them together so much!
