January

Saturday, January 3rd - We had a blast celebrating Lauren's birthday with the Pantusa's - Top Golf, pizza, and games.

Some last bits of fun with Jenna before she had to go back to Texas Tech. Church and Chuy's. Cake pop failure. Tuesday cheap movie and lunch day with Papa, Mima, & Garrison. Sister/brother hike. Kellen back to school. Tech recruiting - Home for the Holidays event in Denver.

And a Snow Day! Friday, January 9th - a wonderful snow day! The best kind - when you know the night before and don't set an alarm!

Saturday, January 10th - We were finally able to celebrate Garrison's birthday together and then both he and Jenna went back to school on Sunday, January 11th.
Tuesday, Jan 13th - Beautiful sunrise!

Thursday, January 15th - National Trumpet Competition announcements - Jenna and her group made it in!
Tuesday, January 20th and Thursday, January 22nd - Basketball Pep Bands for Kellen

Friday, January 23rd - Texas Tech closed at noon in anticipation of a big snow/ice storm - up to 8 inches of snow predicted. Campus ended up being closed until 10 am on Wednesday, January 28th! Lots of fun was had and Jenna learned Oklahoma Drill.

Meanwhile in Colorado, we had very cold temps and a little snow. Kellen used the time to make sourdough bread. Pep band continued on Saturday, January 24th and only a 2 hour delay for us on Monday, January 26th.
Wednesday, January 28th - More Pep Band fun!

Thursday, January 29th - Kevin's 51st birthday - CMEA and Thursday night dinner celebration.

Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st - Kellen went with Kevin to CMEA.

Orange Bowl

Friday, January 1st - Pregame Pep Rally

An amazing experience, but a miserable first half.

So thankful for people posting pictures! And, Jenna had a nice up close feature again!

The game didn't turn out as we hoped, but still proud of the season! The band sounded amazing!

Meanwhile, we had fun hosting a watch party at our house and Papa watched from Lubbock.
