Detach, detach and detach

Came across a saying through a friend which I found it to be true and something that needs to be learned:

"There's no point trying so hard to get the things that you know will never be yours. Have pride by moving on with your life coz the harder you try, the more miserable you become knowing the fact that you will fail eventually. You'll never know that maybe something better awaits you once you learn how to let go because, at the end of the day, you are the one who will be battling with your own emotions."

Reflections

Life is not made up of big moments, but it's made up of small moments. We are defining ourselves with every small choice and every small decision that we make. The question is, are we proud of ourselves?? Or are we disappointed by who we've become?? Life hardly turns out the way that we planned. The unexpected happens and it surprises us with new exciting possibilities. However, sooner or later reality hits you in the face.

Went through a rough patch this year.

Work is piling up and it is slowly becoming a habit for me to use it as an excuse to avoid things. Work has changed me. The way I think, the way I act. But is it for better or for worse? It has drifted me away from the people I cared and loved the most. A loss of a cherished relationship. Experienced a bad accident (thank God for sparing me my life). Not a smooth sailing year for the family as well.

I hope when my life doesn't go as i planned (which it certainly won't), I can handle myself with good grace and strength.

Knock knock! Are you there?

WOW! I'm surprised at the number of post I posted within a year! Hahahaha....

At long last...

...i'm blogging again. I'm actually feeling a lil' heavy-eyed right now but I will go beyond the miles to write this (i make this sound like a difficult thing to do - how hard can it be??). Coz if I don't, some people will keep reminding me bout it "oiii! update your blog larr!" or "your blog is dead...RIP". So yea...now you know why. I'm going to make this short though...bare with me...

One piece of advice, if you have a heart disease, avoid watching Resident Evil...it will scare the daylights out of you and turn you as white as sheet. Needless to say, it made my flesh crawled. Suprised that I even made it out despite a few jolts from the chair. :D

AR complete! Till then...peace out!

why do all good things come to an end?

5 hours of sleep is not enough. I had to wake up early in the morning for breakfast (which I didn't plan to go at first and I shouldn't have gone if I knew it). Watched Legion. God loses faith in humanity, sends legions of angels to exterminate the people on earth, and brings on the end of the world. It's another version of Noah and the Ark, where flood of water set in on earth to wipe away the livings. What else could He do when His people grew so violent and evil? The reviews were not so good but I would say it wasn't the worst movie shown in the cinema. Some parts were genuinely funny, some parts made me jumped from my seat.

Thank You for today.
