6 Weeks Old

My little man is 6 weeks old today. Wow!!! He went to the Doctor last Tuesday and he weighed 9lbs. 8oz. He was 6lbs. 15oz. when he was born. I think we are going through a growth spurt. Sometimes about an hour to two hours after he eats he will eat another 4oz. He has been doing that the last few days. I think he is slowing down some now. One of the books I have said that they have growth spurts at 3 weeks and 6 weeks. His arms and legs are really starting to fill out and he is starting to focus on things more now and smile alot more. That is probably the things I have noticed the most in the last few weeks.

Comparison pictures from when he was a few weeks old and 6 weeks old. He has lost alot of hair and blond is coming in.

Tid Bits

Daddy's Little Hunter

Holding up his head and trying to roll over

Cooper holding up his head.

My sweet little man.
This weekend we went to Abilene to the ACU game. It was a great game and neat to see them win the Conference. We got to spend some quality time with all the family and enjoyed all the cousins being together. It seemed like we played musical babies.

Morgan feeding her cousin Cooper. She has to be with him all the time. It is so sweet.

I love when he is all curled up asleep like this. Yes, I know you are supposed to put them to sleep on their back but the Doctor told us he could sleep on his stomach during the day while we were watching him.

1 Month Old

Cooper is 1 Month Old today.

He is now able to wear some of his 0-3 month clothes.

Copper loves to kick, squirm and coo.
He smile and makes funny faces.
Rolled over 2 times from his stomach to his back.
Loves to sleep.
Hold his head up about 30 seconds.
Sleeps about 3 hours at night between feedings.
Eating 3-4 oz. every 3 to 31/2 hours.
Is loosing his hair.
Still has his umbilical cord.
I think his Zantac is starting to work. He has been much happier. He still throws up every once in a while from his reflux but does not even cry.
He is a good and happy baby.

NEW PLACES, NEW FACES

What a busy week. We started off last week headed to Olney to see my mom and for Scott to see some of his customers in the Wichita Falls area. My dad was gone to Colorado hunting. We enjoyed our time there and got to visit many people.

We first stopped in Graham for Cooper to meet his Great Great Grandmother. It was good to see her. She did not know we were coming so she was shocked when we walked up. She is 93 years old.

Cooper and Great Great Granny

The next day we went around town and visited some other people. This is Cooper meeting his Great Plain Granny for the first time. After that we went and visited Christi and Rhonda and the Montgomery's. My how those girls have grown. It was so good to see everyone.

We came back from Olney late Wednesday night and headed for New Braunfels Thursday evening. Whew I was tired trying to get everything done around the house and laundry done. You have to haul a lot with a baby. This is Uncle Chad and Cooper.

We are headed to Cooper's first football game to watch his second cousin Cody.

Grandpa Chris has Cooper sound asleep.

Cooper meeting his Great Grandma

Cooper meeting his Great Granny for the first time at his meet Cooper party. Chris and Terry had a meet Cooper party. Needless to say Cooper was tired by the end of that night but was so good.

OH MY GOSH!!!

Ok, I know this might just be a coincidence but Cooper just rolled over from his stomach to his back. I had him sleeping on his stomach on the couch and he started waking up to eat and rolled over. I hollered at Scott to come look and he did not believe me. Proud parent moment!
