Weekend

Cooper has been making this new face and it is so funny!

"I am getting ready to crawl." He is starting to get up on his hands and knees and rock a little.

Mimi and Pops came up for the weekend. Scott and his dad fixed our tile that buckled a few weeks ago, I trimmed our 80 year old neighbors bushes, and Terry watched Cooper. Saturday night I cook Enchiladas Verde and Carrie and Jamin came down to visit. Sunday needless to say we were tired and Cooper took a 3 hour nap so Scott and I snuck one in too.

Just Some Pictures

Cooper eating carrots. It looks like he has on orange lipstick!

We went out to water the flowers and this is how it ended up. Cooper playing in the water and soaking wet. He loved it!

Cooper eating his first cracker. I think more was crumbled on me than got in his mouth. His reflux has really been acting up lately. He gets choked on his baby food sometimes and throws up. It is really scary! He seems to do better with carrots and green beans so that is what we are sticking to for now. If any of you have had a baby with reflux and have any suggestions please share. He threw up 5/7 days and it is so sad.

Easter

Ashley took Cooper's 6 month pictures. Thanks!!! This one is so cute. I may have to blow it up and put it in his room. I will post the other's later. I just stole this one off her blog. As you can tell from the pictures below we had a very busy Easter weekend. It was nice getting together with everyone. We have not all been together since Christmas. It was a little crazy around there with 3 little ones but tons of fun. By the way thanks to Mimi & Pops, Gana & PaPaw, GG, and the John's for all the Easter presents!

6 Months Old

Cooper is six months old today. It is kind of ironic because he was born on a Sunday and turned 6 months old Sunday. He is sitting up, can get up on his hands and knees for a short period, scoots to get something out of reach, is babbling some, has eaten peas, green beans, carrots, and pears so far. He seems to like them all but not too interested in his oatmeal. He loves bath time. He just kicks and splashes.

He loves to read and look at books.

He loves to play with this bee. If it is around the back he will bend down and look for it.
Cooper went to the nursery during Sunday School for the first time today. It was so hard to leave him. All I thought about the whole class was Cooper. I know, I know I am a baby. The ladies said he did really well. I know it is good for him to be away and with other people.

We planted a garden this weekend and Cooper enjoyed playing outside and watching us.

He started using a sippy cup last week. He likes to chew on it but also likes to drink out of it

The final project. Scott built us a box garden this weekend and hauled in dirt. I planted the vegetable and we can't wait to see if it grows.

Another New Recipe

I cooked this last night and it was really easy and delicious!!!

French's Crunchy Onion Chicken

2 cups French's Original French Fried Onions
2 tbsp. flour
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 egg, beaten

Crush French Fried Onions with flour in plastic bag.
Dip chicken into egg, then coat in onion crumbs.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes until cooked through.

The Frenches French Fried Onions are in the canned vegetable aisle. I had never bought them before and did not know where they were.
