Christmas Part 1

We spent Christmas at Scott's parents this year. We will be at mine on New Year's weekend. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed time with family. It seemed like we were pretty busy while we were there. We all got some great gifts!

Cooper slept the whole way home and had just woken up in this picture. We thought getting bigger car we would have more room but we were packed!

Cooper got a "bucking bull" from Mimi and Pop!

Getting ready to eat some yummy food. Each couple chose their favorite holiday food and made it. We had Cajun dressing, turkey, sweet potato casserole, green bean bundles, and apple pie.

Cooper passing out presents to GiGi! And yes our son does not like to wear clothes!

Scott is a UT fan and his sister went to A&M so she was booing his Horns shirt.

Cooper helping Pop open presents. He loved unwrapping them!

I forgot to get a picture of Cooper's Santa set up nice so here it is after he started playing with it. I think his favorite thing was his singing tooth brush!

Breakfast With Santa and Cooper's Christmas Program

Each year our church does a Breakfast with Santa. Everyone wears their PJ's, Mrs. Claw's reads Christmas stories, we eat yummy food, and their are crafts for the kids to do.

Cooper and Tripp with Santa. Neither one of them cried or were scared.

Don't you like our Pj's?

Last Thursday Cooper has his Christmas program at school. They sang Away in a Manger and Santa Claw's is Coming to town. It was so cute! Cooper actually did really good singing and doing the motions to the songs. The theme was a Country Christmas so they were supposed to dress western. Mom and Dad do you recognize this hat? It was mine when I was a little girl. I still remembering getting it for Christmas!

Seaworld Christmas!

Last weekend we headed to Scott's parents and then to Sea world. The Christmas shows were a lot better than the summer ones. They had a Sesame Street Christmas, a Clyde and Seymour, and of course Shamu. Cooper really enjoyed them and so did we! While we were at Mimi and Pops house Cooper enjoyed playing with the goat and even rode them. He would get on them and say "yeehaw", fall off". He was pretending like he was getting bucked off. He is such a little boy!

Ok, I wasn't able to crop the adults out of this one so don't look too close please!!! I was still in my PJ's and neither of us had even brushed our hair yet but had to post it because of Cowboy Cooper!

TaDa!!!

That's what Cooper says when he has made a mess or built something. So I am saying it because my floors are done and everything is back in place!!! Yaaaayyyy! It ended up taking a little over a week for it all to be completed. They had to come in fix a crack and let it dry for 24 hrs, put down liquid leveler and let it dry for 24 hrs, put down the tile and let it dry for 24 hrs, and then grout. They messed up on a few cuts and we had to make them come back and re-do them because we just weren't really happy with the way it looked. It actually looks better than the pictures portray. I am just glad to have everything done, all cleaned up and don't have to stay in our dungeon. That's what I call our bedroom where we stayed for 3 days!

We put down a tile that looks like wood.

Ok, so here is the story behind this picture. I remind you we were confined to our bedroom because we couldn't walk on the floors to get to the kitchen, living room, or the other side of the house. Cooper was all stopped up and congested and needed some medicine that was in the kitchen. We could go through our back door and jump over to the carpet to get into the living room. So we got a piece of plywood and laied it across the two cabinets and I crawled across them to get his medicine. I was just praying it didn't break! What you will do for your child!

This isnt the best picture but I was in a hurry.

And last but not least... Coooper has to be just like Daddy! Love it!

Under Construction and Halloween!

Our tile was popping loose because they used a bad batch of adhesive when they built our house. Our house is only five years old so this is kind of frustrating. Scott and I decided to save $1000.00 and take the tile up ourselves. Our friends kept Cooper for the day because it was Halloween weekend and then Sunday Cooper and I stayed at my friends house so Scott could finish. It was a lot of hard work but we got it done. We covered every opening and spent two days with only access to our bedroom! Even though everything was covered with plastic the dust still got everywhere. I'm talking in my cabinets, all over my dishes, and anywhere you can imagine. I cleaned house good on tuesday and all the dust is already back. I am having to take everything out of the cabinets and my pantry and clean all the dishes and food! They are coming to lay the tile tomorrow and I can't wait! We are going with a tile that looks like wood. I am anxious to see how it turns out!

We were just popping up the tile and Cooper had to put his knee pads and gloves on too!

Look at the dust!

Saturday we went to church for the Trunk or Treat instead of going out on Sunday. Cooper was a baseball player and won the costume contest! He was not in a very good mood that night due to a short nap and didn't want the black paint on his face so this was the best I could do.

This was the best picture we could get of the boys. This is Cooper's friend Tripp (Shrek)

The costume contest.

He had to take his bucket to church on sunday and school on monday...haha!
