We have a WHA meeting this Friday, 3 April at 9:30 am at Crossroads Baptist Church.
I've only received 1 board report, so please forward them ASAP to hlisenbee@teamllc.net. Lauren will consolidate the reports and email them to all board members. Please remember to print yourself a copy of the agenda and board reports for the meeting. The March minutes are attached, so please review prior to the meeting. Thanks Brittany, for typing up the minutes.
As far as I know, childcare is not needed for this meeting.

Easter Party.....
IT'S PARTY TIME!
WHA is sponsoring an Easter party for the kids at WHMC. The party should be tons of fun and will include lots of goodies to fill the children's Easter baskets, refreshments and crafts, and visits with the Easter Bunny himself! The fun begins Wednesday, April 8, at 9:30 am and lasts until 12:30 pm, and we could really use your help to make this event a success:
We need volunteers to help oversee the festivities. There's no need to worry about childcare. If you're able to help, your little ones get to join in the fun!
We also could use volunteers to donate cookies (homemade or store bought) and punch.
Have a photo printer? We're looking for a stand alone (no need to connect to a computer) photo printer and digital camera for pictures of the children with the Easter Bunny. WHA will provide the photo paper, and you will be reimbursed for your ink.

Heart Link 2009
Lackland AFB is hosting a Heart Link Seminar for Spouses on 4 March at 6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, childcare is free and they will serve a light dinner. See the attached flyer for more info and contact the POC, Terryca Fuller at 671-3722 to RSVP.

WHA BAKE SALE February 13th!
IMPORTANT!!
The WHA Bake Sale has been moved it to the Wilford Hall basement by the Chapel and near the cafeteria. We also are still in need of more bakers:
WHA Valentine's Day Bake Sale
Friday, Feb. 13th
Wilford Hall Medical Center
Basement by Chapel
7 am to 1 pm
Go all out with Valentine's themed goodies like candy, chocolate, and fudge, along with traditional cakes, cupcakes, cookies. Paper hearts, ribbons, and fancy wrapping are all highly encouraged! The cuter it looks, the better it sells!
BAKERS: Please email cgirton@yahoo.com if you plan to bake something. Note that no filled goods are allowed at the bake sale (eg. jelly, creme-filled, etc.) Baked goods can be dropped off Feb. 11-13. Please freeze any goods that will not be sold within 3 days, wrap each individual baked good securely, and include name of baked good and an ingredients list so we avoid any allergy issues. (If using a box mix – just snip off the ingredients list.) Please pick your most convenient drop off-location and remember to call ahead to get drop off instructions and gate entry:

2. Carrie Howarth's house: 16015 Los Sedona, Helotes 78023, 210-462-7707
3. Or drop off directly at the bake sale in the Wilford Hall Clinic Entrance on Feb. 13th by 7 am. (Send it in with your spouse!)
VOLUNTEERS: Spend an hour for a good cause and a chance to meet some of your fellow auxiliary members!! We will need two volunteers for each hour of the bake sale. Please sign up below and reply all. Kids welcome!

OPEN POSITIONS.....
Join us in supporting Wilford Hall Medical Center by becoming an active Wilford Hall Auxiliary (WHA) board member.
WHA has several open board positions as we start the new year and is eagerly looking for volunteers to step-up and get involved! Joining the WHA board is a great way to meet new people and have fun!
