Blessing Day June 2, 2012

Matthew's sweet little outfit.  I was having such a hard time picking out the perfect little outfit for him, because my mom and aunt made Trey's out of material from my mom's wedding dress, so I felt like it was really special.  I didn't want Matthew to feel jipped.  My sister and I had decided to have the boys blessed on the same day, and found matching outfits for them to wear... special enough... right?

Big brother Trey all ready for church

Our families came together to support us on this special day. It mean so much to us to have both of our families there for Matthew.

Trey and his buddy Brighton

Both our boys in white.

Will gave little Matthew such a sweet blessing.  Just thinking back on the day makes me feel so warm inside. I loved having our families there to feel the spirit and hear the words and blessings that my Heavenly Father has in store for my little guy.  I am so grateful for the plan of salvation and the knowledge that this gospel brings to my life.  I know that I will be with my family for eternity, and I wouldn't want it any other way.  This gospel and knowledge brings me such joy and happiness.  Who wouldn't want these cute, precious boys to be part of their lives forever.  Will and I have both been raised by amazing parents who have instilled in us important values and beliefs and have been amazing examples of who we hope to become one day.

memorial weekend 2012 at the Farm

After having Matthew and being home for 6 1/2 weeks, I had to go back to work for the last 2 1/2 weeks of school to finish out the year.  I went back on a Thursday, then the next day (Friday) we loaded up the car and went on our first trip.  Not sure how smart of an idea this was since i was STRESSED out of my mind, but we made it out the door and on our way.  We decided to head up to the farm for Memorial day.  It as a ton of fun, but I literally felt like I packed my entire house to go out of town for the weekend! I had a wonderful time RELAXING and LOUNGING around and didn't get out the camera, till about an hour before we left!  We had a blast spending time with family and friends.

Trey loved the little car and exploring at the farm....

The babies enjoyed sleeping...

taking full advantage of the "you don't have to brush your hair at the farm' rule

I seriously love this cute boy!

how many men does it take to load up the truck
