World Down Syndrome Day {3•21•22}

Today was World Down Syndrome Day! We rocked our socks and shirts for our precious miracle baby, Lera! Liv and Lai even made a video to share with the world and spread awareness!  Cody, Livia, Lailee, and I were completely overwhelmed at the love and support our family + friends have shown for Lera today! Our hearts are full of so many emotions…we are forever grateful for the village we have praying, supporting, guiding, and celebrating with us on this extraordinary journey. Thank you for choosing to be part of #lerasleague and spreading awareness, acceptance + inclusion for these precious angels. Sometimes the smallest thing can make the biggest change! We love you all! Lailee's 9th Birthday!

We cannot believe our baby is {NINE}! We celebrated big in Nashville! She woke up to 4 inches of snow on the ground, our hotel room decorated, and our Elves even came to wish her a happy b-day too! We started the morning off with a surprise birthday blowout at Drybar from her Aunt Bonnie. It was so much fun for the girls! Bonnie even had a cake for her to enjoy! Their hair looked fabulous, but they looked so grown!  Then we headed to the American Girl Doll store and that was an adventure! Lai wanted a Truly Me doll for her birthday, so that is just what she got! She named her Tayte and has already started writing her story...so awesome! The birthday girl requested Chik-Fil-A for lunch, and then we headed back to the hotel for a body rest. We ended her day by meeting Gran, Uncle Jesse, + Aunt Bonnie for dinner at Chuy's!  Happy Birthday to our angel! Having you for our daughter means everything! G-daddy's Celebration of Life - Nashville

Today we celebrated the beautiful life of a husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, friend, mentor, coach + music man! The love, laughter, admiration, and friendship that was present today, filled our hearts with such comfort. The stories shared were a testament to a life well lived.   Janet’s strength through this entire process was so inspiring…making Larry's memorial everything he deserved. A sincere thank you to EVERYONE who played a part in making his celebration of life so special. The Willoughby family is forever grateful for you.   The girls were so happy Dierks came to honor and speak about their G-daddy! So thankful for this jewel of a friend! Everything she had to do to make this trip happen and join us in celebrating as our friend and photographer is simple amazing and selfless.
