Time flies... today is already the last day of May 2008. I've been somewhat busy with stuffs + being lazy, so haven't been updating my blog.
Umm... let's see... first of all, I think this year there seems to be a lot of changes/movements going on around me. I was discussing with a friend recently, that this year seems like there's a lot of hook ups and break ups going on. I had few friends who just endured break ups, and countless more who got hooked up.
And, as I have blogged previously, I've finally done my PADI open water diver course in Perhentian, which I had thought of doing since years back (2001 or so). So far I've invested in an Atomic Aquatic's Ultraclear Mask, a pair of Bare short necked Booties, and a pair of AA's Splitfins. Might be considering Regulator and Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) too, but probably will start off with 2nd hand units. By end of this year I'll probably be aiming to do another 2 dives, one in Tioman - July, and another one Sipadan - October. Tioman is pretty much confirmed, whereas Sipadan still in planning stage.
As for work, not really happy at work nowadays. I left my previous job due to crappy boss and politicking colleagues, only to end up with another not-so-crappy-but-still-quite-crappy boss, and selfish colleague (only one so far, luckily). What luck. I'm being dumped into tasks waaay out of my job scope/KPI. My friend was telling me that I might have a case with constructive dismissal. Maaaaaybe I should look into that... *evil grin*
I really am seriously considering quitting the rat race and move to something else... but no idea what to do yet. I think I need to spend more time with my family and less time at work, while still maintain a healthy income. Been looking into some methods of investments too, but yet to make any decisions.
Well... that's it for now... take care everyone.
Just an average guy, living an average life, trying to be extraodinary once in a while :P

Back from Perhentian
Yeah... I survived the PADI certification and gotten my Open Water Diving License... :D
On the 1st we took Air Asia and flew to Kota Bahru, then took a taxi to the jetty, and after a speed boat ride, we reached our destination... Pulau Perhentian Kecil.
The certification process requires us to do 4 open water dives under supervision from our instructor. We did 2 dives on the first day, and 2 dives on the second day. I also did 2 extra dives on the 3rd day.
Will elaborate a bit more on my next post. As for pictures, please refer to my Facebook picture album. ;)
