Misc. stuff

VA LOVES to play with the glockenspiel.  It is always exciting when S isn't around to take it away.

VA also LOVES to read with Trevor.  She has a few favorite books that she picks out and brings to him.

She gives the baby sheep hugs and kisses.

We had fun in SLC for the TCU game.  The TCU game was NOT fun except that it was S's first football game.  She loved singing the fight song with the band before the game started.  The only other redeeming thing about the game was the weather.

Halloween

We spent Halloween with Alice & the Mad Hatter.  Thankfully, their mother (Dana) takes gorgeous pictures and shared.  ALL of these photos are hers.  THANK YOU Dana for documenting our wonderful evening with you!!!

We sang to Virginia and blew out the candle.  She was SO tired (afternoon church=no nap) that she didn't really enjoy it much.  But she humored us and took a few bites before her thumb went in her mouth and she rubbed frosting all over her face and ear with the other hand.

These three were excited and had so much fun running from house to house together.

Okay, a couple of pics from my little point-and-shoot:

As you can see, outdoor holiday decor is big-time here.  Some of it was a little too spooky for my taste, but it does make the neighborhood feel quite festive.  A ton of people even hang lights!  Can't wait to see what things will look like for Christmas...

Just the usual pumpkins--Go Utes, Old-fashioned Jack, & special request-Ariel this year.  :)

The Little Monkey is One

VA turned one last friday.  We had a very "chill" day (meaning I didn't plan anything) together to celebrate.  Savannah could not wait for one minute to open her present, so we did it in PJ's, first thing in the morning.

Sorry about the morning sunshine!

Low-key--just one toy.  But it is a fun one.  Lots of things to touch and places for little fingers to explore.  It was a hit with both kids.

Had a waffle breakfast.

Then we hit the lake.  And had a great time.
