Look at what a few minutes on Google can produce.  A whole truck with your name on it!  I think we might have to head to Australia and test drive one. They are truly for real.

So, my little family blog has gone by the wayside for...ever it seems.  I have been busy blogging away on my weight loss site   http://whileiamweighting.blogspot.com. 

I have a ton of pictures and stories to tell and will...at some point. 

Here is a little funny. 

Monte, Hazy and I were driving one day listening to the radio.  The song "hey sole sister"  (so sorry, you will totally be hooked on it now).  Haze, all matter of fact, says "this is my song because it says Hazel sister and I am a sister.  Cool huh?"  I about wet my pants I was laughing so hard:D

It has been forever and I need to catch up sooo badly.  Tre turned 7 and Abs earned his last boys scout awards but I couldn't wait to reminisce about our little getaway. 

We headed out Thursday afternoon and headed for St. George.  Our friend had a business meeting and they decided to make a weekend of it and invited us along.  Can I say one of the funnest weekends away ever?!  No kids allowed!


After his meeting Friday morning we headed for Las Vegas.  While it was snowing back home we were enjoying the warm 70's by the pool.  It took a whole day of mourning to feel upbeat about getting back into the groove of life.  Thank you hunny for a memory that will be hard to surpass!

Saturday night Monte and I went to see the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company preform.  Monte has been taking a dance class at school to earn his mandatory "diversity" credit.  As part of his class he needs to attend several dance preformances - hense the trip to Capitol Theater.

 From the first day he could tell this class was going to push him way out of his comfort zone.  However, like with everything, once he actually started to study and learn about dance he has grown to really appreciate it and even enjoy it.  It is amazing at what the human mind can invent and the human body can create. 

Sure we sat behind two well dressed, handsome and good smelling guys but we didn't stick out as much as we maybe would have thought. (I guess we have some serious prejudgment issues we need to ponder and maybe diversity shouldn't need quotes;)  Anyway, it was a great night and I highly recommend checking it out. 

Thank you for all your help with the books!  I really appreciate having a network of friends I can depend on. 

I wanted to pass on the word that Women's Conference register time has come.  My friend and WC partner says it best so I will defer to her blog.

I am the mother of a teenager.  I have said that to myself at least one hundred times in the last week and I still don't believe it.  Jaxon turned 13!  He is getting so grown up.  He got a cell phone because he is getting so busy that life demands it.  CrAzY!
I am so proud of Jax.  He is such a great example and has really been a champ this year.  We have used and abused his generosity in babysitting.   He has been a lifesaver in so many ways.   And, he has kept A's in addition. 
I was telling Monte that this year we would see Jax change a lot and that I had mixed emotions about it.  I am excited for him to grow some wings but I am sad to see him use them.  I love you Jax.  Thanks for being the best teenager around!
