2 weeks old

She has very long fingers to go with her long feet. Thank you again to Uncle Clay and Aunt Debbie for the pink scrubs that they sent to Vera when she was born. Anna is wearing them at the beginning of this post. I think they're really cute.

First Day Home

Anna has very long feet! The first few days of her life she always had kind of a grumpy look on her face.

Coming home from the Hospital

Anna Elise Winkler

Anna was born on April 8th 2009
7lbs 4 oz. 20" long

Everything went really well, and really fast, only 3 1/2 hours long from start to finish. Jonas and Vera were very excited. One of the pictures is of them waiting on the porch of my friend's house for John to come pick them up so they could come to the hospital and see their new sister. They couldn't wait. The first time that Vera heard Anna cry that day she came running up to her with her chocolate milk saying that Anna was hungry. We told her that Anna couldn't have any of her milk and Vera started laughing and said, "Oh, she needs white milk." We explained to her that Anna can't have any kind of regular milk or food and Vera thought that was so funny. We have to keep a close eye on Vera when she's around Anna.

Vera napping

I went to check on her and found her in her playhouse in the doll crib tucked in and sleeping.
