We're Back!

Sorry for the post drought. Winnie, Puddy, and I were in Arkansas for the week with my family. I'll get back to frequent posts now that we are home and settled. We went over to Cookie and Sir's today for Puddy to get a little exercise in the pool. Winnie enjoyed the exersaucer for the first time. She is not yet tall enough to really be in there for long, but she loved the time she had! It inspired me to buy one for our house. Notice the drenched dog in the background, looking for his tennis ball. And, notice how someone has gotten some chubby legs!

Some Bunny Loves You

We knew pretty early on that Winifred would be one of those girls someday that is always with her doll, bear, or blankie. She loves to hold onto something soft. She's a snuggler. I bought this cute little Jellycat Rabbit at Anthropologie the day I found out I was pregnant. I was hoping to have a girl! I gave it to her this afternoon to see if she would cuddle with it and fall asleep. It worked! I am so happy.

"I Enjoy Long Baths..."

It's no surprise that we do not own one of those little infant bath tubs, so since birth (or since that nasty little umbilical thing fell off), Winnie's been bathing in the tub with me or in the sink. All of the sudden yesterday, she just seemed so big and grown up, that I made Andy take some pictures. This is the best one...stunned with soapy hair.

Roll Over?

Winnie, completely by accident, rolled over a couple of days ago. She surprised herself! I haven't been able to get her to do it since. I tried capturing it all on camera, but I was too excited to get it all. She celebrated said milestone by spitting up on her mat, but I am not showing that photo, as the snot pic caused my mom such distress. She is growing up so fast!

Happy Fourth!

We spent the fourth in Webster with family and friends.  The highlight of the day for me was Winnie's cute little vintage inspired outfit.  I think she knew how cute she looked, as she was especially photogenic.

Later, she changed into Cardinals gear for the game.  Happy fourth of July!

Visitors from Branson

Yesterday, my brother, Matt, and my sister-in-law Michele brought their kids, Grace, Owen, and Clara to meet Winnie.  We were so thrilled to have them, even if Winnie looks a little upset in the picture.  (Who could be upset in a bedazzled Razorback onesie?) She's really looking forward to the arrival of little baby Pierce this fall.  Matt and Andy went to a Cardinals game on Wednesday, while Michele and I watched "Tom and Jerry" with the kids at the loft.  When they got home, we adults played Wii Golf.  Today, we celebrated Owen's birthday with brownies and presents, then went to the zoo. We got soaked running to our cars in the rain that started just as we were leaving the zoo.  We are so lucky that Winnie has such great cousins to grow up with.  (She also loves Finn, Rafferty, and Remi:)  It was a great visit!
