We've been snowed in the last few days, so we (well, Winnie, Puddy, and I) have been experiencing a little cabin fever. Winnie was a little sick yesterday, and is cutting another tooth, so yeah, a little of a downer time. She has learned to clap--FINALLY! And is becoming quite the adventurer, climbing and pulling and never wanting to sit still. I am still working on a good dance/clap video, but they usually require my singing voice, which I do not like posting for the world to hear!

Winnie is proud to announce that she will be joined by a baby brother this June! I found out last week that I am pregnant...ahem, very pregnant--16 and a half weeks! My due date is June 29th, and the nurse was pretty sure that it was a little "he" baby. We are overwhelmed (having missed the whole first trimester thing--no big deal) and excited about our expanding family! Winnie is especially fond of playing with the ultrasound pictures.

I say it all the time, but Winifred is growing up so quickly. The other night, she busied herself with some light reading and some standing up. She actually loves this book (thanks, Googie & Pawpaw:) because each page does something different, and it's nice and soft for her. And, I cannot get over how old she looks now that she can pull herself up! Her new thing is dancing, but I'm waiting to post on that until I can get the perfect video of her limited moves. She must take after me. Or her dad.

Winnie was looking fine this morning eating her breakfast. The hair styling is a combination of last night's mashed potatoes, no bath afterward, and a full nights rest. But probably, she just has her mom's hair...poor thing. Winnie just had her 9 month appointment, and all is well. She is a little underweight, apparently, so I'm going to bump up her feeding a little. But she's meeting all of her milestones and all of that quite well!

Happy New Years! It's weird...before today, Winnie's whole life was contained in 2008...
In the last post, I mentioned that Winnie is cutting one of her top teeth. Well, upon further investigation, she is actually cutting her top FOUR teeth! At the same time! I don't know if this is normal or not, but it sure is making times tough over here when people should be sleeping:) I am trying to remember that she's in pain when I'm pacing around her room at 3:00 in the morning, but sometimes it's tough!
On a happier note, Winnie's new year's resolution is to try new things. She's off to a good start so far with food. Lately, we've introduced beans, cheddar cheese, fresh peas, plain yogurt, lentils, tofu, blueberries, toast, and papaya and pineapple chunks. In the photo, she's eating her favorite meal: sweet potato, cheese, and peas. She's doing a great job, and I've very proud of my big girl.
It seems like just yesterday she was in my tummy (let me wipe away a tear), and now she's crawling around, eating, terrorizing Puddy, and laughing at everything. Time goes by too fast!
Boring!
