We had a great time last weekend in Branson for Rafferty's birthday party. Here are a couple cute shots from the trip...Winnie with Cousin Grace (who is a huge helper! I kept offering her the nanny position to come live with us, but she's not interested.) Also, one with Uncle Matt, who Winnie always ends up being held by! Winnie is so happy when she is around her cousins.

Winifred was lucky enough to get to spend the afternoon with her friend Maggie from upstairs last week. Maggie quickly made her self at home in our loft, but Winnie shared with her the best spot in the house--Puddy's dog bed. Winnie loves being in there, and I couldn't get them out. I just brought them the box of books so at least they could catch up on their reading, instead of just sitting in there staring at each other. This is our favorite book (another one from Aunt Jenny) "I Am a Bunny." Anyways, Puddy doesn't seem to mind that Winnie hangs out in his bed, as evidenced below in the picture of him sleeping in HER Boppy pillow, one of his favorite places. My crazy kids!

The last few posts have featured the wilder side of Winnie, so it seemed like a good time to show her chill side, too. We love watching her hold her own bottle like a big girl. When I am at work all day, I miss a lot of Winnie in her greatest moods (she can get grumpy around bedtime). So I cherish weekends with her, especially when she wakes up really happy from a good nap.

Our last post showed some video of Winnie as she transformed into a little vampire. Maybe it was the midnight release of Twilight, maybe it was some sort of harvest moon, maybe it was pasta noodles with baby carrot sauce.... in any case, the metamorphosis is complete! It is worth zooming in on this photo to truly appreciate this scene.

Winnie is getting a little better, but she had a two week crazy biting phase. I think she was just excited about Twilight coming out on DVD. It was funny at first, but quickly turned into not funny at all. Those little chompers hurt! It was at its worst in Arkansas...she left bad marks on Clara's hand while we were stopping by in Branson. Anyways, she seemed to always want to be biting cousin Finn (more than anyone else). In this video, (that Andy and I have watched over and over--it's hilarious!) she is attacking Finn at the beginning. Rafferty seems to get her calmed down, then she realizes Finn is near and the attack continues. Sweet Finn was so gracious to her, even with little welts on his face. What a great cousin! Winifred owes you an apology, buddy.

Back from Arkansas

Wagon rides were a daily outing while we were there. Sometimes it was just Puddy, sometimes Winnie and Tracy, sometimes all of the kids. Winnie loved it!

Remi is reading Winnie the new book she got from Googie and Papaw (that we left in Conway!)

The boys loved carrying and holding Winnie, even though she seemed half their size! It was too precious!

We had such a great time visiting my family in Arkansas. Winnie got to spend tons of quality time with Aunt Tracy, Aunt Jenny and Uncle Ryan, Papaw and Googie, and friends at Stephanie and Garrett's wedding. We were really sad to be apart from Andy for 10 days, but he was able to get a ton of work done around the loft without us pestering him! He and Joey made us some beautiful walls! I took 336 pictures while I was there, so I've tried to pick some of my favorites showing all the stuff that we did. Winnie had such a fun time with her cousins! And, I think she lost her heart to Papaw while we were visiting. We are glad to finally be back home, but we always look forward to our trips down there!
Rafferty loves Winnie and was great to have around to help me out!

This is Winnie playing at the new park on the Riverfront in Little Rock. It was just the coolest place.

Winnie and her main man Papaw, in front of his beautiful dogwood trees right before we left for home. They spent the whole morning together while I got ready and packed the car.
