I have no idea why I have been such a slacker on blogging, but I will recap so no one misses a heartbeat of what is going on in the Winward's life (that would be a shame). February is a busy month for the business. We have two Trade/Home Shows that take a lot of work to do, not to mention wipe out our weekends. But the business we get from them keeps us doing them every year. Justin and I decided we were not going to get eachother anything for Valentines day. Well I stuck with my promise but Justin didn't. He came home Monday (he was to excited when my present came so we celebrated a few days early) with steak and crab and made an amazing meal. Then he showed me what he got me a pair of topaz earings with a matching necklace. Very fancy stuff. It was a wonderful pre Valentines day.
ADDIE SENDS HER VALENTINES KISSES
Last weekend we spent in Helena with Justin's brother and his family. That's always fun because Addison and her cousin Natalie are two peas in a pod. Justin's two cousins came up from Idaho and we just had a fabulous weekend.
Addison is a little sponge lately. Her vocabualry has grown and it's fun that she will repeat most everything I say (yes I now have to kick the swearing habit :). It's been nicer weather so we talk lots of walks which she can't get enough of. But her all time favorite thing is the train that goes by our apartment every Wed at 7:30 am. She gets so excited running around saying train train choo choo. The train is very close to us, it actually shakes things a little bit, but Addie enjoys it.
We are breaking ground in a week which is wonderful because our neighbors were up until 2:30 in the morning boozing it up. I don't get it, he's a 40 something year old veteran, no job, his wife never leaves the house and never gets out of her PJ's and they have a 2 year old and a 12 year old with them. Talk about irresponsible parents getting drunk at leat twice a week. It makes me sad. But I am not a perfect parent either. Just yesterday I was cooking dinner and let Addie do her own thing when I went to go find her she had her play utensils and play food in the toilet.
