Our Family!!

Today my Princess turned one. It was a sad but happy day! I'm excited that she is getting older & doing more things but sad to think that she won't be a little tyke I can tote around everywhere with me for much longer. Time just seems to move WAYYYYY toooooo fast!! I wanted to make this post today although we won't be celebrating her birthday with a party until this weekend. Pics will be coming shortly from that I promise!!

I found myself remembering being in the hospital & bringing her home for the first time. How overwhelmed with JOY I was when first seeing & holding her & amazed at all the progress she has made since being a tiny fragile girl. A year does not seem like that long...but it is in baby years. I just want to keep her this age. Everything about her is so fun!! I know we can't do this but one can wish, right ;)

Some things she is doing now.....

Shakes her head no --- doing this a lot more lately!! Stinker!!
Says - Ma-ma, da-da, ba-ba, kitty or cat, hi, YEAH
Loves to eat cookies, drink soda...dang Grandma & Grandpa's!!! Lol
Drink her bottle
Love on her baby dolls & stuffed animals - also the real ones but the cats just run away :(

Push everything around, walk around furniture
Dive off couches, beds, or out of your arms!! She thinks she is superwoman!!
Playing with other kids - she is totally infatuated watching kids play
Likes playing with her hair when tired
Gumming everything...still no teeth
Talking on the phone, playing with remotes, game controllers or anything else she shouldn't have!!

There are so many more things she does & she learns something more each day!!

Even though it's been only a year it feels as if she has been in our lives forever. She completes our family & lightens our lives every day!! I can't imagine a day without her infectious smile!! We Love You Kambree, Happy Birthday!!!

To start off my day, Jesse finally came home from Salt Lake after being there all week! I am so thankful I'm not a single mom. Dang, it is hard work taking care of a sick baby, working, and going to school. I don't think he realizes how much he really does that helps. So again, happy he is home. At least til Monday!! :D
Next I thought that everyone just was busy and didn't really wanna hang out with me today. They kept putting me off and telling me they were busy. So I just decided I would go get Kambree's one ear repierced and buy her an easter basket & stuff to go with it. BUT when Jesse insisted he go with me I didn't think much of it since he hadn't been able to hang out with us much. Got our errands done & then went & visited Jesse's Grandma & Grandpa Hoyle.
Jesse had asked my mom to watch Kambree tonight around 6 so we could go for a date but I was none the wiser. She is often our substitute baby sitter.
When six rolled around we pulled up to my mom's & my friends & family were all there & SURPRISE, SURPRISE....It was a party for me!! Jesse had arranged for everyone to meet, bought the cake & food, & had even stopped to help decorate on his way home. What a sweetheart!! I was totally SURPRISED!! He is so awesome & I really am lucky to have such a sweet and thoughful hubby!! :D
This was my first surprise party in my nearly 24 years so it was fun. I got awesome gifts - Wii Fit, Flowers, Shoes, a Shirt & matching earrings, a Candle, Wall rub on, Chips & Aunt Shar's famous salsa...YUM!!!
Guess this makes up for Jesse & most everyone else forgetting my birthday last year...Not that I completely blame them...we were all under A TON of stress beings I was in labor the whole weekend of my birthday!! We were just waiting for Kambree to get here & that seemed to take precedence on everyone's mind. Thanks for everyone coming tonight & for helping make an awesome, memorable birthday!!!

Today we got Kambree's one year picture's taken by Laurie Terry. It was a lot of fun & even more work! We were all doing EVERYTHING we could think of to get a cute smile or grin out of this girl but it was totally worth it. The images are AMAZING!!! But of course they are because Laurie is awesome & so passionate about getting a good shot. I got a chance to sneak a peek through the pics and they are all to die for. I also had the difficult task of picking one...(yes only one)... of a million pictures for my princess' debut in the Richfield Reaper! (Be sure to watch for her in next week's paper!) It's harder than one might imagine. There are some super duper cute ones of her in a hat & sunglasses but I didn't pick these for the paper since I didn't want any chance of her being mistaken for a boy & then some really awesome ones of her in a tutu & wings but didn't think it was quite approriate for her first published picture to be a topless shot! :P So I ended up picking one of her in a white/yellow top & yellow capris w/ matching yellow pigtails!! Kambree was really a good sport & was rewarded with a cake at the end of her session! She really didn't know what to do with it at first but did eventually dig in a little. So fun! Will post some pics when I get them!! Can't wait!! I really can't beleive my angel is turning 1 in just over a week!! :(

This past weekend we were in St George again. I got the chance to hang out with some of my favorite people...Victoria & Alisha & their families. We went shopping with Vic & her kids, went to the park & ate at Cafe Rio...yum. Brooklyn also did mine & Taneesha's hair & we took some pics in Vic & Eric's 31. It was fun. Kambree also went on her first hot rod ride! She loved it! We also went to the park with Alisha and played in the sand with her kids. Kambree & Kaston are so cute especially since they are so close in age. I really enjoy spending time with these guys and wish they weren't so dang far away!! Here are some pics to share.
