It has been a while, but I am back. This time I am sharing a look at some cards I made using the new Stampin' Up! Take to the Sky DSP and the Adventurous Sky stamp set and dies.

I love how they turned out. I hope you do, too.

You could easily change out the sentiments for Father's Day cards, as well.

Or really any occasion, for the guys in your life.

Trusty Tools Cards

While I was away for a Scropions concert in Las Vegas, the switch over from Close To My Heart to Stampin' Up! happened on May 1st.

If you haven't already heard the news, Close To My Heart is in the process of shutting down. (Officially us Makers were out of contract with them on April 30th.) They worked so hard behind the scenes to have the Makers who wanted to continue in the scrapbooking industry have a great place to land and continue on, and they teamed up with Stampin' Up! to do just that. (The latest numbers I heard was that 3/4 of the makers transitioned over to Stampin' Up!)

So here I am, figuring out everthing that is new on the business side. (Not always the easiest! lol)

And I am sharing with you the cards I have made as my first share using a combination of new Stampin' Up! products and CTMH.

I used my 6x6 One Sheet Wonder to create 5 cards.

(If you use a full 12x12 sheet, you can create 20 cards! With zero DSP leftovers.)

As past CTMH Makers and new Demonstrators, we were given permission to be able to use our products (I believe until the end of the year). So I did just that.

Large Card Keeper Box Instructions

Hi everyone!

I know it has been quite a while since I shared on here.

BUT... I have so many new things to talk about. I will get to that another day though.

Today I want to share some instructions that I finally got around to typing up as a PDF file for you. It is for a Large Card Keeper Box, originally designed by Erica Cerwin way back in 2012. I created a box using Erica's free instructions that I shared here on my blog back in 2012, as well as sharing it on Pinterest. I still get contacted with requests for the instructions (just 2 again last week) because of the reach that Pinterest has.

I finally broke down and took the time to type them up (it seriously takes a day to do all this), and I included all of my changes to her original instructions, and I am sharing those with you today. Erica's free instructions were shown step by step with photos on her blog, but they were not in a printable file.

So after all these years... here they are for you, also for FREE. Enjoy!

Two Sheet Wonder Cards

I was playing with my Two Sheet Wonder again and created even more cards.

First one up is this cute cactus themed set.

And this masculine set, which turned out to be one of my faves. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have taken any photos of the completed set, which I don't have anymore. I have well over 300 cards for sale at a local store. I'm happy to report that they are selling well.

And lastly for now, a set of coffee cup themed cards. For this one I used single sided sheets of patterned papers (usually I use double sided papers), so the end result was that it created 32 cards instead of 16. It was a lot of cards in the end, but I love how they turned out so much!

This is seriously a wonderful Two Sheet Wonder.

You can quickly create your own set of beautiful cards.

Large Card Box featuring Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin Spice Cards with Vicki's 2 Sheet Wonder

Hi everyone!

Hope you are well.

I'm back today to show you another sampling of fun cards I created with my NEW Two Sheet Wonder instructions, this time using papers from the very recent Pumpkin Spice paper pack.

Here's a better look at the cards...

The sweater stamp I used on my cards is from an old retired set called Ugly Sweater. But there currently is a CTMH set that you can still get called Pumpkin Spice - Scrapbooking which even comes with matching dies.

The sentiments I used are all from one great set called For All Occassions. A perfect addition to anyone's stamp collection.

I personally love how these cards turned out. I hope you like them too. ;)

3 Different Pleated Cards

Hello friends! It feels so good to be back playing with my paper and inks, albeit these are all long retired now.

But still worthy of a share!

Besides, I know you all have a huge stash of older papers and stamps like I do, unless you are just newly getting into papercrafts.

I used retired CTMH Jingle papers for these cards, and the sentiment came from a retired CTMH set called Just To Say.

I will share the sizing and scoring measurements for the patterned papers I used on my cards.

If you need more information on how to create one, you can easily search pleated cards on Pinterest. There are lots of how-to videos on there.

This first card is a basic side pleated card.

(Please excuse my individual card photos, as it is dark out right now and I have no natural light to take photos, so I just cropped my original picture I took yesterday.)

NOTE: when making these cards, it is easiest to adhere everything to

the card front before adhering the card front onto the card base.

Patterned paper: 4" x 9 7/8"

Score at: 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 4 1/2", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 8 1/2"

Measure up 1" from the bottom on the right side and mark with a pencil.

Cut from the 1" mark on an angle to the bottom of the farthest score line (the 1 1/2" score line).

My second card is a full pleated card.

Patterned paper: 3" x 11"

Score at: 1 1/2", 2", 3", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 5", 6", 6 1/2", 7 1/2", 8", 9" and 9 1/2"

Measure up on both short sides and mark at 1 1/2" with a pencil.

Cut from the 1 1/2" mark (on the left) on an angle to the 5" score line.

Cut from the 1 1/2" mark (on the right) on an angle to the 6" score line.

After it is attached, trim off excess that hangs over sides.

My third card is a peek-a-boo pleated card.

You get to use some fun patterned papers underneath that peek out behind the pleated paper.

Patterned paper: 3 1/2" x 8"

I didn't score this one the way I did the above cards. There were no measurement instructions on the inspiration card I saw on Pintrest, only an image. And on this one you will not be cutting an angle off. So bear with me while I do my best to explain what I did for these folds.... lol

Using my fingers to pleat, I pleated at approx 1" in from the top right and 1 5/8" in from the bottom right.

Then, again using my fingers, I pleated at 1 1/8" in from my first pleated line (at the top) and 1 1/2" in from the first pleated line (at the bottom).

I then used a bone folder to make my pleats nice and crisp.

Adhere this piece onto your 4" x 5 1/4" patterened paper, with the excess on the left side. Trim excess off before adhering onto your card base.

Lastly, I used my scissors to trim a little of the overhang on the right side, so it would be able to fit into an envelope.

I hope you like my cards and that maybe I inpired you to pull out some of your papers and stamps that you may not have looked at for a while.

Using a OSW to create a TSW set of cards

Hi everyone! I wanted to pop in to let you all know I've started creating again.

AND that I just signed back up with CTMH! ♥

Since I'm back on here, I thought I would share how I used a One Sheet Wonder (OSW) found on Pinterest HERE, and then how I changed it up to a Two Sheet Wonder (TSW), which not only doubles the amount of cards you make, but it turns them from some simple cards, to looking like they are not so simple. But either way you choose to create them, they are beautiful!

These are the OSW cards I created using the template.

And these are the cards I created using two different coordinating sheets of patterned papers, what I'm calling a Two Sheet Wonder (TSW).

To make it easy, I put both sheets of paper together when cutting the template.

With Heartfelt Sympathy - Know That I Care Stamp Set

I created this card with the CTMH Know That I Care stamp set.

The little heart is from the I Heart Us Cardmaking stamp set.

And I stamped the images onto the darker side of Linen cardstock with Intense Black ink, then coloured them in with Copic markers.

Know That I Care

I created this card with the CTMH Know That I Care stamp set.

I sponged and blended the background with Peacock, Lagoon, Glacier, Sweet Leaf, and Willow inks.

And I used a Gold Shimmer Brush to tap the splash of gold flecks over top, before adhering the main image and ribbon.

Below is a video clip, showing the prettiness of the gold shimmer. 💙

I Heart Us & Card Captions Card Set

I guess I got busy and forgot to post this set of cards back in January when this CTMH Stamp of the Month, Card Captions, was current.

I used this set for the sentiments, along with bulk papers from the I Heart Us paper packet.

You Are So Loved Layout

This was a fun layout to make using one of the CTMH Stitched Square Frames Thin Cuts dies to cut all the patterned papers I used from the Celebrate Mix-In paper packet.

And that beautiful flower image is from Bunches of Love stamp set.

I coloured the image with my inks and a waterbrush.

My title is from another gorgeous stamp set called Love Blossoms.

Which if I remember correctly, is available only until the end of the month from CTMH.

The tag where I wrote the date on was created with one of the dies in the Fancy Tags Thin Cuts set.

And the Lagoon ribbon is an older retired one from my stash.

I finished the layout off with some Black Dots and Clear Sparkles, as well as a journal pen on the perimeter of the page.

Make a Wish - Feels Like Home

For this card, I used papers from CTMH Feels Like Home.

The main floral paper is just black, white and grey images, so I coloured the flowers on the patterned paper with blue and green markers, to give it some more depth and interest, although it is really pretty on its own.

I just wanted to add a pop of colour.

For the wreath, I used the Feels Like Home Scrapbooking stamp set, and the sentiment is from a retired M-size stamp called Wish.

Lastly, I added a white ribbon bow and some clear sparkles.

This card feels a little like Spring to me.

Inspire Card Set

I've been going through my many years of accumulated stash of papercrafting items, selling off as much as I can of the things I won't use.

In doing that, I have come across quite a few things that has made me want to play...

These papers are one of the items. They are from an 8x8 paper pad from October Afternoon called Report Card. They have an antique-y, old school feel to them. So pretty in person.

I paired the papers up with a retired CTMH stamp set called Inspire, to create this set of cards.

I also used the new CTMH I Heart Us Cardmaking stamp set on the card above and below.

You should go through your stash and see what inspires you to create!

Dandelion Wishes Cards

I used the CTMH Dandelion Wishes stamp set to make both of these birthday cards, along with Ballerina and Charcoal cardstock.

The "Make a Wish" sentiment is from the retired Wish, an M-sized stamp.

After I embossed the images with white embossing powder, I coloured the embossed dandelions with a Tender Pink marker.

( I was inspired by a SU card made by Megumi Holland.) 💕

I also used the Playful Scallops embossing folder for the card above.

For my shaker, I used the Stitched Circles Thin Cuts to create a little smaller shaker, as the Shaker Window Thin Cuts dies were a little too big for the size I needed for this card.

Love Blossoms Card

I used the CTMH Love Blossoms stamp along with the retired Sending Smiles stamp set.

The Love Blossoms set is still available until the end of March, if I remember correctly. ;)

And I just happen to have an extra NEW set available for purchase.

Butterfly Friendship Card

I created this card with CTMH So Much Happy papers and Butterfly Friendship stamps with matching Thin Cuts dies. 💙

I also used one of the dies from the set of Fancy Tags Thin Cuts set.

If you look closely, you will see two different embossing folders were used, also: the new Playful Scallops and Swiss Dot.

And I also used a piece of So Much Happy Washi tape at the top of the tag.

Lastly, the sequins are from the I Heart Us sequins pack.

Washi Tape Holder

Congrats on Your Wedding

I created this card with the CTMH Feels Like Home - Cardmaking stamp set.

I random stamped the background in Mink ink with one of the images in the set, to create my own patterned paper.

And I colored in the leaves with Willow ink and a waterbrush.

It's the Little Things & You're the Best

I whipped these two cards up today.

Some days, it all just flows out of me.

(And some days, it is a little more work.)

These ones were easy; I love that. :)

For both cards, I used the CTMH Budding Peony (with Thin Cuts dies) and Wordfetti stamp sets, and Sugarplum, Sage, and Canary inks on my flower images.

I noticed in the photo that it looks like some of the little stars in my shaker are blue, but they are actually more of a pearlescent colour, and look more like shades of white and pink IRL.

I used two markers to colour my Clear Sparkles and Bitty Sparkles; first with the Peony Purple and then the Tender Pink.

For the random stamped background, I set up my stamps onto a 4"x4" block as shown below, and inked them in Mink ink. I then only had to stamp this 3 times to fill my Lt. Mink cardstock piece.

It always feels so good to get my craft on!
