2009 is finally coming to an end!! Woohoo! Why am I so excited? nope its not bcuz im more than 8 months through my army, nor is it the festive season tat is arriving soon. It is that Universal Studios Singapore is opening in 2010!! Being a fan of this theme park, I would definitely step into it the first thing it open.

I heard about the attractions tat are installed at this theme park and I personally feel that most are unique and interesting. Of the attractions, I would definitely visit Madagascar Flume Ride, Jurassic River Rapid Ride and the Revenge Of The Mummy! Even those carnival rides sounds interesting.. Things like Canopy Flyer and the Treasure Hunters. Personally, I feel that this theme park has a good mixture of hard core rides as well as those for relaxation. What I hope is that they will have street parades and maybe some shows on the lagoon.

So far in Singapore, we only have Escape Theme Park. But Universal is in a different category altogether. It is more expensive, no doubt about that. But it offers an experience like no others. I have been to the ones in Japan and Hollywood and all I can say is that it is awesome! I like the pyrotechnics employed to create the special effects ( esp Waterworld ). I like the dark rides, as it gives us surprises. And most importantly, I like the way rides are themed to movies, esp recent ones. From what I had experienced, it was a one day filled with fun and excitement.

Having said that, I am just waiting to see how much is an annual pass. And lets just hope it opens as soon as possible!
