The Trains at North Park
The Trains at NP benefit the Ronald McDonald House. It is the only organization that provides a temporary home-away-from-home for families whose children are receiving treatment for a serious illness or injury at a Dallas area hospital. In an effort to lessen the burden, reduce stress, keep the family intact, and enhance the quality of life for these families, the RMHD provides affordable housing in a caring home-like atmosphere.
This is also one of our fav Christmas traditions.
Neiman Marcus Christmas
Every year growing up, my Mom, Mimi (grandmother) and Babba (great grandmother ) took us to NM downtown for all of the amazing decorations, shopping and lunch. Since Eleanor was a baby, we have gone for lunch and the decorations also.
This year Eleanor was old enough- kinda - (must be 4 yrs old!) to go through the slide in the gorgeous window display. One of Eleanor's best friends, Caroline, joined us this year and we hope to make it an every year tradition!
Sweet Amelia was VERY disappointed and kept saying, "I so sad I can't go in playground, but I too little." :(
Caroline happened to have the same dress so we all matched!!

We had a fun time with Mimi and Grumps opening presents, dinner at Patrizios, and looking at Christmas lights. We wish we had them for real Christmas!!

Eleanor's School Program
Eleanor had her first school program this year since she is officially in pre-school. It was more than precious and she actually sang (a little). I sat and listened to the monitor for 15 minutes tonight of her belting out all of the songs. She just doesn't like an audience!

Amelia's Sweet 2nd Birthday Party
Amelia's Sweet 2nd birthday was perfectly sweet! We had all of our best friends and family over for decorating cupcakes ( I baked 60!), dinner and bouncing.

Amelia Jane is 2 years Old!
Amelia is 2 years old!! We feel like she was just born yesterday.
What a sweet, feisty, silly, loving, mischievous, kissy, cuddly, adventurous, hilarious little girl you are!!
* You love to talk. People comment all the time how well you talk for your age. There is hardly a quiet moment!
* You love to dance and sing Jesus Loves Me, Jingle Bells, Kumbaya, Twinkle Twinkle and other songs
* You have become more of a picky eater. Fav foods are pineapple, mac n cheese, lasagna, corn
* You are crazy funny. It is hard to write down, but you say the funniest things. "Oh cool" "Oh no! Not again!"
* You LOVE your daddy more than anyone
* You are a runner and don't like to hold my hand when walking across the street or in a parking lot.
* When we take a picture of you, you say "cheese, good job, good picture"
* You love playing babydolls, tea party and dress up
* You do not like having your diaper changed or wearing them for that matter
* You do not like to be told no
* You do not like to be put down if you are in a mood
* You have a major paci addiction. Although we try to keep them in bed, you beg for them
* You talk in a deep voice when you are excited.
