An Angel prayer

Christmas Eve day

We took the boys up to Grand Targhee Resort to go skiing for part of their "early" Christmas present. It is SOOOO incredibly beautiful up there!! We knew that we needed to go skiing at least once before the girls got here or we might not get another chance.

No one wanted to be seen with Jaren......wonder why?

Gingerbread houses

We make gingerbread houses each year at the beginning of December and the boys have a good time eating on them all month. It is so fun to see how each one creates theirs.

Trip to Utah

We had a good time at the Jazz basketball game while on our trip to Utah after Thanksgiving. Here is Jaren and Carson enjoying the game in the "nose bleed" section.

When you are in Salt Lake you just HAVE to go to the mall!!! Here is Jayden and Travis enjoying the mall. HAA!! I don't know why they don't enjoy it as much as I do????

"After Thanksgiving" trip to Utah...

We decided to take a trip to Utah seen as how everyone was home for once for a few days in a row. It was a really fun time. We visited the Aerospace Museum and let Jaren be our tour guide. It was really fun listening to him and I was really surprised by all that he knew.

Here is our "tom cruise". He is really hoping to get to fly.

Snow Day!!!

Here is our first real snow day of the year. I really don't think I am ready for this. Travis was. He thought he needed to get out in it as soon as possiable. It is really pretty outside and makes the inside of our home seem just a little cozier today.

My favorite cat. She really is a pretty cat. I have been tempted several times to let her in the house. I am just not sure I want to worry about another animal in my house with my little girls coming soon. She is fun to cuddle and squeeze though. Her name is Daisy. The boys call her Cougar. I think Daisy fits her better.

Veteran's Day

The middle school had a Veteran's Day program. They had the high school/middle school band preform. They had a great presentation on the flag and how it came to be. The band of course was AWESOME!!!

These girls came to sit by us. I am sure they came over by us because they really liked me!! HA!

My Peeps

Lou. He has been a part of our family for about 7 years now. He has been a pretty good dog. Most Dachshunds are not too kid friendly but Lou doesn't seem to have a problem with the kids. Oh course I don't let him be mean. I didn't do my research well enough when we got him for Carson for Christmas. He was sooo cute as a puppy. He has turned out to be quite a well behaved dog, although sometimes mommy calls him Lou-ser because he still poops in the house every once in a while. uuugggggg.

Getting a little big for his chair but, it is comfortable.........

Me and (most 0f) my boys. Carson is missing and so I will have to get him later.

Friday afternoon ride & picnic

We went for a 4 wheeler ride down by Malad and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! It didn't seem to be as cold as it looked, (see below, snow) it wasn't warm but pleasant enough for a ride through the trees. Fall is beautiful. I sure miss the Kentucky Fall's but it seems that each place has it's own beauty.

Grandma & Grandpa Woods, Matt and his kids and us all enjoyed the day.

After the ride we enjoyed some hot dogs & hot chocolate!! YUM.

Homecoming for Blackfoot

Jaren was asked by his friend, Sara Carter to Blackfoot High Schools Homecoming dance. He said they had a GREAT time. They met about 11:00am and had a photo scavenger hunt and then went and ate lunch. They messed around some more in Blackfoot and then took the girls home so they could get ready for the dance. Jaren said the dance was fun. Sara told me that she taught Jaren to do the Fox trot & Waltz. They went to eat at the Homestead Restaurant and then after the dance they met at one of the boys home there in Blackfoot and watched a movie. They are such good kids and it is so fun talking with them and having them talk SO FAST about what they did. You could tell they enjoyed their time with each other and THAT is what makes being a teenager so fun!!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!

These ladies were AMAZING & fun!!! Everything is free handed. They said they liked how I had the room arranged (yea) and then they went to work. It took them 2 hours. All I have to say is that it is WAY CUTER in person. Hope the girls like it. I might have to sleep in the room until they get here. :~))

These flowers on the doors and not quite finished. One of the ladies had to go and get some wood to make the center of the flowers. They are going to add some ribbon and "bling" to their names too. I will post another picture when it is all finished......I just couldn't wait to post some now. Now all I need are my girls!!!!
